With the new view-optimised designed KAUP Rotating Roll Clamp T458B-2 roles and pipes can be taken up and transported carefully. The contact pad of this attachment is divided and allows in such a way that at the same time two roles - also with different diameters - can be transported stacked. This makes this attachment everywhere inalienable where the dandling of paper rolls, concrete tubes and similar is essential.

With the Levi RollToRoll-Transport Lines it is possible to lift, redirect and transport sensitive and flexible glass, foils and packaging. Our technology generates a thin air film between the substrate and the surface of the roll, which allows the contactless roll-to-roll transport of workpieces. Therefore, micro-scratches and contamination can be prevented. The application can be delivered in different versions. For example, combinations with the UltraLevi-Desk for contactless transport are possible. The system also allows the inspection of substrates. ParAlign is a unique, nonoptical measurement method using inertial technology designed to measure the parallelism of rolls in production installations in the paper, print, converting, steel industries, and webhandling/roll to roll transfer processes. Misalignment in rolling machinery can lead to wasted material, inconsistent or lowquality products, and excess machine wear. Properly aligned rolls perform better, create more consistent products, and reduce wear and tear on machinery. Threering laser gyroscopes enable the ParAlign to take measurements in threedimensional space (roll, pitch, and yaw). No line of sight is required, which creates consistent, reproducible results.

Continuous generating grinding is one of the most productive technologies to grind high precision gear tooth flanks. KAPP manufactures dressing tools in positive and negative electroplated version. Highest flexibility can be achieved with form rolls for topological dressing. For the so called “flexible dressing” the tools are designed to dress worms for different workpieces with one tool, while the tip of the worm is dressed separately. For serial production there are profile rolls with integrated tip dresser in a workpiece specific manner also for grinding of well defined gear root area. Most productive for high volume are multi-ribbed diamond profile rolls made in a negative electroplating process.
