For over 30 years, GESCO-metall GmbH has stood for quality, competence and experience in the field of contract bending. The production focuses are curved parts for windows, doors and facades as well as complex special profiles for industrial construction, vehicle manufacturing, plant engineering and medical technology. It goes without saying that we also bend aluminium cover caps for the wood/aluminium field. With automatic continuous punching machines, machine and tool merge into a high-performance system with high output and remarkable flexibility. Whether sealing profiles for the automotive industry, applications for furniture, or household appliances – complex trimming is often required here. Thanks to the Metzner automatic throughfeed punching machines, processing operations such as contour cutting, drilling and milling can be integrated into a throughfeed system. All these machines store all machining parameters and machine settings in a machining recipe. When starting production, an integrated barcode scanner activates all presettings on the basis of the working papers and simultaneously reports the correct tool and material on the machine display. The barcode also contains the required quantities and lengths. Thanks to well thought-out quick-change systems, tools and materials are generally changed within no more than 30 seconds, minimizing downtimes.

The Plasmajet® (registered AFS trademark) produces a plasma without a vacuum. The plasma, generated by high voltage in combination with any process gas, is blown out of the unit, and is potential-free. It is used for surface modification. When the plasma comes into contact with a plastic surface, the wettability is increased. Metal surfaces can effectively be cleaned, and it is also possible to weld plastic sheets. The system comprises of a plasma reactor with nozzle, a high-voltage generator with transformer and high-voltage rectifier. The application field for Plasmajet® is mainly where geometric, three-dimensional bodies or profiles are to be coated, printed, glued or cleaned.
