This robust, vertical installation machine is specifically designed to install Compression Limiters into a variety of plastic components. The machine is available in two models: the CL1000 is capable of 4.4 kN (or 1,000 lbs.) of installation force and the CL2000 is capable of 8.8 kN (or 2,000 lbs. of installation force, and is available with multiple installation tips in nearly any configuration at various elevations. The incorporation of a touchscreen operator interface machines makes our machines easy to use and customisable. Language conversion is easily executed to support international use. The Model CL is equipped with installation verification to ensure that the machine has completed a full installation cycle and a Compression Limiter was installed at each location. This highly flexible platen style machine with 228mm x 279mm (9" x 11") working area. The Model CL is available with optional enhancement features for error-proofing and maximum efficiency.

Designed to install virtually any type of Heat / Ultrasonic Style Insert. As much as 75% of an Insert’s performance is the direct result of how well it was installed. Therefore, in order to maximize performance, all of the factors that impact installation must be carefully controlled. SPIROL’s Model HM Manual Insert Driver has been designed to eliminate the dependency on the operator to control these factors. The result is nearly perfect flow of the plastic for optimal retention and performance. The Model HM Manual Insert Driver is simple to operate and easily adjustable. The Model HM installs Inserts ranging in size from M2 - M6 metric threads and #2 - 1/4 unified threads, and the simple up-down adjustment of the machine makes it easy to accommodate various sized plastic components.

SPIROL manufactures several different styles of Post Mould Installed Compression Limiters for installation into the plastic component after the molding process is complete. Installing Compression Limiters after the plastic has cooled typically results in the lowest total installed cost since there is no added cycle time associated with placing the Compression Limiters over core pins during the moulding process. Post mould installed Compression Limiters also eliminate any concern with damaging the mould due to improperly positioned components. SPIROL Standard Post Mould Compression Limiters include: The Series CL220 Split Seam, Series CL200 Split Seam - Slim Profile, Series CL350 Split Seam - Heavy Wall, Series CL400 Split Seam - Oval, Series CL6000, CL6100 & CL620 Aluminium and Series CL8000 & CL8100 Brass.

SPIROL's BP100 Press-N-Lok™ Pin has opposing barbs on each end of the pin and is designed to permanently retain two plastic components to each other such as two halves of a plastic enclosure. Press-N-Lok™ Pins are installed in two stages: First, press the pins into one half of the plastic housing. Next, align the other half of the housing with the exposed pins and press into place. During installation, the plastic will backfill into the area around the barbs resulting in maximum resistance to axial force. SPIROL's Press-N-Lok™ Pins are manufactured from lightweight, lead free aluminium as a standard, and available to order in austenitic stainless steel. BP100 Press-N-Lok™ Pins are available in diameters ranging from 2mm to 4mm.
