MEGAlife maintenance-free roller and conveyor chains can be used in all areas where relubrication is difficult or impossible. These include dry environments and applications where maintenance access is difficult. MEGAlife chains have nickel-plated parts and are therefore corrosion resistant and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +160°C. Depending on the application, the maintenance-free chains are supplied either dry or with additional special lubrication.

The FLEXON range of Snap On Plate Top chains are two piece assemblies of base roller chain, in steel or stainless steel, onto which a plastic plate is mounted. The combination of the two elements creates a chain with high breaking load provided by the ELITE base chain plus the benefit of a very flat top surface.

The secret of the b.dry range is to consign the old notions of „steel on steel“ to the past! The fact that no lubricants are needed is thanks to our b.dry bushes, which are made from a special, high-performance polymer. The capabilities of this material are absolutely unparalleled. b.dry products run completely dry, but are still more resistant to wear and corrosion, stronger and have a longer service life than comparable chains.

The new FLEXON SafeTopChain was designed with a completely closed upper surface, minimising the risk of crushing in curves or deflections and offering maximum stability for products and workpiece carrier systems. The special surface also enables even the smallest parts to be transported risk-free. Roller chains with elastomer profiles are ideal for applicationswhere fragile goods require gentle conveyor handling. ELITE chains are used for transporting goods that should not be scratched, such as coated or thin sheet metal, planed timber planks or pipes. The material iwis uses for the ELITE product range is nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with a hardness of 80 Shore A. NBR offers the optimum combination of cohesive friction, abrasion resistance and durability. Other profile types are possible for special applications and can be supplied on request. iwis side bow chains are generally used as conveyor or drag chains in applications that require curved tracks. The chains may have different bow radii. As a rule, the pin diameter of these chains is smaller, but conical pins or bi-conical bushes are also a possibility.
