Attachments from KAUP are not only "The helping hands of your forklift truck". They can also be "the helping hands of your automated guided vehicle", significantly expanding the application possibilities of the innovative automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Whether integrated sideshift, bale clamp or telescopic forks: a wide variety of attachments from the KAUP product range can be integrated into AGVs. It does not matter whether the attachment is electronically or hydraulically operated. As with forklift trucks, KAUP also works with all manufacturers of automated guided vehicles.

The here and now is electric. This is not exclusively true for cars and industrial trucks of various kinds. Even attachments for automated guided vehicle systems, forklift trucks or pedestrian stackers are now electrically powered. With the e-op series, KAUP has electrified the most important implement functions and its range includes Sideshifter, Fork Positioner, Rotator and Double Pallet Handler with electronic drives for a wide variety of material handling tasks.

The ‚Smart Load Control‘ (SLC) system regulates, as the only one on the market, the clamping force on appliance-/carton clamps exclusively load dependent and not load pattern dependent. The weight is decisive for the flexible definition of the clamping force - not the dimensions of the load. The aim of the system is to ensure that only as much clamping force as really necessary acts on the load.

The ESX-IOXp is a small, compact and freely-programmable control unit from the 16-bit control unit family. Due to its compact construction, it mainly facilitates the automation of small machines and attachment devices. The control unit can be used optionally with four LS outputs for the realization of motor bridges and with four PVG outputs. It features an XC2287 processor with 80 MHz by Infineon and 768-kB Flash, 1-MB-RAM- and 8-kB EEPROM memory. Software The application software for the ESX-IOXp can be created highly efficiently either in "C" or in CODESYS V2.3 IEC61131. In the programming interface, numerous convenient functions such as current controllers and ramp functions for outputs or frequency averaging for inputs are integrated.

The ESX-3XM is a robust and efficient control unit. The ESX-4CS-GW is the first control unit of the fourth generation. The new platform is in turn based on the current AURIX family by Infineon. This AURIX family contains multicore and single core processors. The ESX-4CS-GW (C = Compact, S = Small, GW = Gateway) is equipped with a multicore processor with four internal processors. Three of these cores are available for the creation of your application. The fourth core serves as the lock step core for safety-oriented applications. Furthermore, the processor is equipped with the following internal memories: 8 MB Flash, 2 MB RAM and 32 kB EEPROM. An external 16 MB flash memory is also available. As the device was designed as a central gateway module, six CAN interfaces are available in addition to the five Ethernet interfaces, four of which represent an Ethernet switch for mobile applications. Furthermore, the device can support CAN-FD. The number of I/Os (12 x In, 6 x Out) has been adapted to the concept of a gateway module.

C-Box/2A is used for fast D/A conversion of two digital input signals or for evaluating two digital sensor signals. Output of the sensor signals is possible via two configurable analogue outputs, Ethernet or USB. Handling of the C-Box/2A and of the connected sensors are performed via web interface. Averaging functions, thickness, diameter, step and inclinations can be calculated. The D/A conversion is executed with 16 Bit and max. 70 kHz.

Production lines and operations struggle with their current labeling solutions. Challenges include complexity, high costs, and the need for bulky cages to ensure worker safety. Existing labeling systems often fail to provide the required efficiency and precision in label placement, leading to errors, line stoppages, and quality issues. As a result, there is a growing demand for a labeling solution that is simpler, more cost-effective, and ensures exact labeling without compromising on safety.

Metzner powder press and indexable insert automations of the "RPA 3-SC series" automatically remove pressed blanks from a powder press and deposit them quickly and gently in a definable sample. In the "RPA 3-SC1", the transfer of the individual sintering plates and the loading of the blanks is carried out by a SCARA 4-axis robot. The empty sintering plates are placed manually into a sintering plate magazine, removed with a sintering plate gripper if necessary, and fed to the loading position. The robot then moves to a gripper station, deposits the sintering plate gripper, picks up a part gripper, and starts loading the sintering plate. In the "RPA 3-SC2", sintering plates are placed manually on a double conveyor belt. One sintering plate at a time is automatically transported to the loading position via the conveyor belt. The robot immediately starts to load the blanks. Loaded sintering plates are ejected from the loading position and manually removed from the conveyor belt.

The "Metzner RPA 60-LT" is a powerful robot press automation with an outstanding storage system for the highest demands in the handling of pressed parts made of hard metal and metal powder. With a storage capacity of up to 60 sintering plates, the it offers outstanding possibilities for the production of sintered parts of all types. All sintering plates are fed to the machine via four transport trolleys with 15 plates each. The intelligent handling system of the "RPA 60-LT" ensures uninterrupted loading of the pressed parts. While the first sintering plate is filled by a linear robot with multifunctional gripper, the handling system provides a second empty plate. As soon as the first plate is filled, the loading of the second one starts. Meanwhile, the handling system returns the loaded sintering plate to the transport carriage. The automation thus works according to the Kanban principle, which ensures that the press can be operated continuously even during the workpiece carrier change

The "Metzner RPA 10-SL" is a powerful and flexible press automation system for handling indexable inserts and small ceramic parts for medium to large batch sizes. It has an integrated magazine system for up to ten sintering inserts. Empty sintering inserts are automatically removed from the magazine, loaded and then returned as required. In this way, the powder press automation works independently over a longer period of time without loading and unloading processes leading to a press stop. With its integrated 4-axis SCARA robot, the machine achieves very high system speeds of up to 30 stroke/min. The "RPA 10-SL" is operated conveniently via the integrated control or via the mobile operator terminal. At the push of a button, loaded sintering plates are removed and new ones received. Defined operating data are transferred to the press control via an interface.
