scanCONTROL 3D scanners are used for precise inline 3D measurements in numerous applications. Scans are performed by moving the scanner or the target. Due to their low weight, the scanners are ideally suited both for robotic applications and inline production monitoring. These 3D laser scanners are characterized by high dynamics, absolute precision and their compact size. With the scanCONTROL 3000 and the new scanCONTROL 3002 series, Micro-Epsilon offers a comprehensive portfolio with numerous measurement areas, Red and Blue laser technologies and extensive accessories. The scanCONTROL 3D laser scanners are based on the latest GigE Vision and GenICam standards and can therefore be integrated into a wide range of image processing environments. The powerful 3DInspect software is available for parameter setting, evaluation and output.

Corrugated tubes are used to protect cable wires and cable harnesses. When cutting this corrugated tube sheathing to length, it is important to cut precisely and reliably on the crest of the shaft, to avoid forming sharp cutting edges which damage the in-drawn cable wires. Metzner revolutionised the cutting to length of slotted corrugated tubes with the SM 4000 corrugated tube cutting machine. It is the only machine in the world that can guarantee a precision cut on the crest of the shaft due to its unique and patented feed and cutting technology. A laser sensor monitors the production and activates the cut precisely and repetitively with up to 8000 cuts per hour. The TeraSpeed serves applications in quality control and process monitoring that require no spectral information, but call for terahertz intensity measurements at “extreme” speeds: the system is capable of detecting individual terahertz pulses at repetition rates as high as 100 MHz. An integrated data-processing unit converts the detected pulses to RMS values, enabling data streams at sampling rates up to 500 kHz – orders of magnitude faster than conventional terahertz systems. Bringing together several cutting-edge technologies, the TeraSpeed takes advantage of mature fiber laser technology, powerful photoconductive emitters and fast yet sensitive Schottky receivers.

The TA pro is the flagship product of TOPTICAs high power tunable diode laser solutions. Its tapered amplifier technology allows for high power with excellent beam quality, while at the same time maintaining the favorable spectral properties of the pro master laser. The TA pro is a completely revised version of a very well-established laser system, the TA 100. It has been optimized for extreme stability and ease of use, and has proved these properties in numerous tests in TOPTICAs and customers´ laboratories.
