SPIROL offers robust, vertical installation machines specifically designed to post-mould install Compression Limiters into a variety of plastic assemblies. The machines can install a single Compression Limiter or multiple Compression Limiters simultaneously into various polymers, thermoplastics and thermosets. SPIROL’s Compression Limiter Installation Machines are versatile solutions designed to be retooled to accommodate changing part configurations. All designs incorporate standardized machine components to reduce factory lead time, improve component reliability, and lower component costs. SPIROL also specializes in application-specific fixtures to ensure that all assembly components are held accurately in place through the installation process.

SPIROL Pin Inserters feed all common types of pins — headed or straight — as well as Bushings, Rivets, Press-In Inserts and many other similar components. Whether your requirements are for a standard Pin Inserter (with or without fixturing) or a custom designed system, our objective is to build reliable and cost effective equipment that provides the right degree of automation based on the volume and complexity of the assembly process involved; the degree of automation that yields the lowest per unit assembly cost and the optimum pay back.

In order to avoid chemical reactions such as curing or crystallization during the dosing process, any contact with metal in the area in contact with the material in the dispenser was avoided. The materials used have been carefully selected: On the one hand with regard to chemical resistance to adhesives and other fluids and on the other hand with regard to highest resistance to physical wear by abrasive media. Highly reactive materials such as sulfuric acid, anaerobic UV curing acrylates and electrolytes require special treatment. They can be dosed with highest accuracy and best repeatability. The new metal-free dispenser can be easily installed on existing ViscoTec drive technologies and offers the same advantages as other proven dispensers from the portfolio of the dosing technology specialist. The metal-free dispenser is available in many sizes.

The FHx58 family is ideally suited for use in the food industry, pharmaceuticals and offshore applications. Encoders are available in two sensor technologies: Optoelectronic: incremental encoder (FHI58) 3D Hall: absolute encoder (FHB58 & FHS58) The high-class mechanical encoder design is independent of the installed sensor technology. High-quality ball bearings allow shaft loads up to 100 N. The dead-space-free sealing and bearings elements guarantee a wobble free shaft operation and ensures that no impurities can infiltrate. The FHx58 can be cleaned with high pressure and steam jets (IP67/P69k). The stainless steel encoder body which is specially surface-treated in combination with PTFE, TPE sealing elements allow that the FHx58 can be used in applications with high hygienic standards. Precisely it is this design which allows to operate the FHx58 also in salty atmospheres permanently or to clean the encoder with cleaning-fluids containing acids and chemicals.
