With an extended measuring range up to 45mm, the new eddy current sensor series completes the product portfolio of eddylab GmbH and at the same time combines all advantages of a non-contact eddy current measuring principle: With wear-free distance and displacement measurement, eddy current sensors are characterized by highest precision and dynamics. The new T14/T20/T40 series can withstand extreme temperatures in a range of -40...+150 °C without any problems and is insensitive to external influences such as dirt and dust. The new sensors with measuring ranges between 14 mm and 45 mm are also extremely compact and robust. This makes them ideal for use in difficult industrial environments or vibration measurements with larger amplitudes. Together with the TX electronics from eddylab GmbH and the eddy current software eddyMOTION, measurement data can be analyzed, visualized, and documented.

Some measurement tasks require large measuring ranges or a large measurement distance from the target object to be measured. For these types of applications, Micro-Epsilon offers long-range laser sensors that combine high accuracy with a large measurement distance.

Non-contact, inductive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon operate according to the eddy current measuring principle. Unlike conventional, inductive displacement sensors, they measure on ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials providing high accuracy, frequency response and temperature stability. Due to their immunity to oil, dirt, pressure and temperature, these inductive eddy current sensors are primarily used for integration in machines and facilities.

The conductive plastic potentiometer MP20/21 (MP21 with mechanical end stops) is an all-around performer that can be adapted for a variety of applications. The radial gold-plated soldering lugs ensure a low housing depth and are suitable for flat connectors (2.8 mm to DIN 46247 part 3). Angle encoder modules from HEIDENHAIN are combinations of angle encoders and high-precision bearings that are optimally adjusted to each other. They are characterized by their high degree of measuring and bearing accuracy, their very high resolution, as well as optimum repeatability. The low starting torque permits smooth motions. SRP angle encoder modules are additionally equipped with an integrated torque motor. They therefore combine a motor, precision bearing and encoder with very high accuracy in one compact system. The torque motor with its very low detent torque enables extraordinarily smooth motion control. Neither disruptive detent torques nor radial forces impair the high guideway accuracy of the bearing. Thanks to their design as completely specifi ed and tested composite assemblies, handling and installation is very simple.

The series MM10 without spring return / MMR10 with spring return is used in applications with very confined space, which require a miniaturized displacement sensor with long lifespan, high accuracy and guided push rod on both sides. The linear potentiometers of the series MM10 / MMR10 are especially space-saving designed and therefore very suitable for applications with very confined space. The potentiometric distance measurement is carried out with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistive element. Thanks to this Comolded conductive plastic technology and the high-quality sleeve bearings, the compact displacement encoder has a very long lifetime and high accuracy due to its good linearity. In the displacement sensor series MM(R)10 the mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a rear and front guided push rod. The displacement sensor can be used both as a probe and with a guided push rod. The internal or external spring return opens up additional applications.
