The SLX series is derived from the SL series and has been especially for use in applications in the pharmaceutical, medical and food industries. To reduce machine downtimes, CIP and SIP ("cleaning in place", "sterilization in place") cleaning and sterilization processes are state of the art today. For this purpose, the machine interior is cleaned thermally and/or chemically with high temperature, pressure and aggressive media. The devices of the SLX series are perfectly equipped for use in this area and guarantee maximum reliability and service life thanks to their extremely robust design, a completely sealed stainless steel housing and high media and temperature resistance. Probably the most hygienic way of controlling a flow of media is for the valve not to touch the media at all. The endless tube pinch valve operates according to this principle. The medium is channelled through a tube and the valve compresses the tube pneumatically. This constriction of the hose adjusts the flow. This principle means the valve is suitable for lots of critical applications in the chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals industries.

The aseptic right angle valve type 6051 with EHEDG Certification and integrated positioner type 8049 is perfectly suitable for applications in pharmaceutical and food processing industry as well as in the biotechnology and cosmetics. All wetted parts comply with FDA, USP class VI and regulations (EG) 1935/2004 and (EU) 10/2011.

The pressure transmitter DMP 331P was designed for use in the food and pharmaceutical industry. The compact design with hygienic process connections makes it possible to achieve an outstanding performance in terms of accuracy, temperature behavior and long term stability. The modular construction concept allows a combination of various process connections with different filling fluids and a cooling element. Several electrical connections complete the profile of DMP 331P. The DCT 533P is suitable for food / beverage and pharmaceutical industry as well as, for applications where a totally flush pressure port is required. The special design prevents condensation inside the pressure transmitter and thus a failure in applications with large temperature changes. The integrated, standardised IO-Link interface increases productivity and supports the operator in service and maintenance. Properties can be read and qualified via IO-Link, which helps the user to assess the state of system or process. It features a very high solubility in fats and water. Certainly the potassium sorbate is poorly soluble in ethanol. For many areas potassium sorbate is an alternative for parabens.

The FHx58 family is ideally suited for use in the food industry, pharmaceuticals and offshore applications. Encoders are available in two sensor technologies: Optoelectronic: incremental encoder (FHI58) 3D Hall: absolute encoder (FHB58 & FHS58) The high-class mechanical encoder design is independent of the installed sensor technology. High-quality ball bearings allow shaft loads up to 100 N. The dead-space-free sealing and bearings elements guarantee a wobble free shaft operation and ensures that no impurities can infiltrate. The FHx58 can be cleaned with high pressure and steam jets (IP67/P69k). The stainless steel encoder body which is specially surface-treated in combination with PTFE, TPE sealing elements allow that the FHx58 can be used in applications with high hygienic standards. Precisely it is this design which allows to operate the FHx58 also in salty atmospheres permanently or to clean the encoder with cleaning-fluids containing acids and chemicals.
