To ensure safe transport and enable an easy handover of the products during later industrial processes and assembly, we ship our springs and sub-assemblies in special packaging. Any conceivable special packaging is adapted precisely to the product in question, e.g. blister or polyethylene packaging. Tube packaging: Compression springs are transported in tube packaging. Tube packaging ensures that they can be inserted without problems, down to the last spring. Sub-assemblies, bent strip parts and laser-generated samples are transported in blister or polyethylene packaging to protect them during transport and storage. Modifying specific extraction mechanisms: We would also be pleased to assist you with our expertise regarding the modification of specific extraction mechanisms. This eliminates downtime of highly complex assembly equipment caused by springs getting caught up in one another.

Production to order – also with special-purpose materials as required: We only produce in accordance with customer specifications. Compression springs can assume a wide variety of designs and forms. Our production facilities include compression springs with wire thicknesses in the range of 0.30 to 3.00 mm with abraded ends and in the range of 0.10 to 4.00 mm with unabraded ends. Even extremely strict tolerances regarding length and strength are adhered to in our compression spring production facility. Special-purpose materials that meet specific requirements can also be integrated into production without any problems. Wire materials: All standard spring steel wires in accordance with EN 10270. Non-ferrous wires made of copper, brass and bronze. Special alloys such as: Hasteloy, CuNi44, NbZr1, TaW2. Other materials on request.

The mechanical back-up design uses SPIROL® Disc Springs. Under normal circumstances, the hydraulic system holds a constant pressure on Disc Springs stacked in series. If pressure fails to be maintained, the stack of Disc Springs decompresses to actuate the braking mechanism. A compression spring or wave spring is not capable of providing the force required (in the space available) to actuate the brakes. The reliability of this safety system is dependent on the consistent performance of Disc Springs. In this critical application, the Disc Spring’s performance and level of predictability improves product quality and ensures overall safety. SPIROL® Disc Springs have a high capacity to consistently store releasable mechanical energy. Visit www.SPRIOL.com to learn more!

Bent wire parts represent a separate part of our production range. Bent parts differ from springs such as extension springs, compression springs and wave springs in terms of how they are produced. This type of spring is not only processed with automated machinery, but also involves a considerable amount of special handling, which we perform using our range of state-of-the-art equipment. Precision production with our high-tech machinery: Our range of machinery with an in-house toolmaking workshop enables three-dimensional bent parts to be produced with a wide variety of forms and with specialised finishes applied to the ends. Our range of machining processes includes: Bevelling, embossing, thread cutting, thread rolling, turning and milling. For bent wire parts, both CNC bending and mould-based bending are possible as production solutions. We process wire thicknesses of 0.20 to 8.00mm.Tool-based: 0.50 to 8.00 mm. Coating of part surfaces: Oiling, Vibratory finishing, Galvanisation.

The COMPENSER® of the KL-series is an industrial shock absorber for light mechanical engineering, e.g. handling equipment, small storage and retrieval machines and small crane systems. Due to the low reset force of the compression spring, this buffer of the KL-series is well suited for operational push-in cycles at creep speed. Design & Function: The piston rod 2 pushes the piston 6 into the pressure chamber 7. At the same time, the damping medium flows through the metering grooves placed in the outer tube 8, via the piston 6 and into the volume balance chamber 5. The return spring 3 is tensioned and, after the impact has occurred, pushes the piston rod 2 back to the initial position. By this the damping medium flows back into the pressure chamber 7.

Application The K2000 cylinder head stand is designed to support automotive and motorcycle cylinder heads on a workbench so that service or repair jobs, such as valve work or head cleaning and assembly can be easily performed. Features The cylinder head clamped onto the K2000 can be rotated by 360° and may be fixed at any desired angular position. Therefore, assembly and disassembly work can be done with the cylinder head in the most appropriate position. An universal valve spring compressing lever is supplied to remove and install the valve springs.
