Molub-Alloy Blanc (05/20/2021) White multi-purpose grease for high bearing pressures and long-term lubrication Description Castrol Molub-Alloy Blanc (previous product name Castrol Longtime Blanc) is a white multi-purpose grease for use at high bearing pressures and long-term lubrication. It is characterized by its special adhesive properties and its water-resistant, sealing properties. Application Molub-Alloy Blanc is used in the food and beverage industry, especially in wet operations, in dusty environments and in conveyor lines, canning and bottle filling systems and labeling machines, where there is no contact between the lubricant and the food or beverage . Molub-Alloy Blanc can be used for long-term lubrication under high pressure loads, vibrations, shock loads, in highly loaded joints, plain and rolling bearings and pipe tracks.

Heavy Duty Grease Description Castrol Molub-Alloy 3136 has been developed for use in applications with high loads, adverse environmental influences and low movement speeds. It is successfully used in all known heavy industries such as steel, mining or construction. Castrol Molub-Alloy 3136 is a mineral oil-based lithium soap grease. It has a good sealing effect against contamination if mechanical seals are damaged or missing (sealing grease collar on the bearing). Castrol Molub-Alloy 3136 provides effective protection against corrosion and is resistant to aging. It is free of heavy metals such as antimony and lead. Light-colored solid lubricants offer excellent emergency running properties in the event of a lack of lubricant.

The broad product range includes a large selection of standard solutions as well as requirements-tailored special designs.

GMN offers a complete range of sizes, types and designs with its spindle ball bearings in standard sizes S, SM and KH. In conventionally oil-lubricated spindle bearings, lubricant is supplied through a lateral oil supply. GMN spindle bearing designs +A, +AB, +L and +LB provide direct oil supplies to the lubrication point through a bore in the outer ring. GMN spindle bearing designs +AG ensure the highest possible machine running times without complex oil supply systems. These feed the lubricant directly into the lubricating point through holes in the outer ring. The developed high-performance, separable BNT and BHT designs ensure fast and uncomplicated handling, especially with regard to assembly and maintenance.

The use of high-precision radial groove ball bearings is especially recommended when axial forces are supported in two directions, but the installation space makes the use of a spindle bearing pair impossible; plus when the best-possible guide for rotating components is needed, but the RPM requirements are less important. Depending upon the load capability and the installation space available, GMN provides deep groove ball bearings in sizes 60 and 62 as per DIN 625. A large selection of various cages, lubricants and covers make it possible to adapt GMN deep groove ball bearings to any application.

"Ball bearings with a material combination of bearing steel (inner and outer rings) and ceramic (balls) are called ‘hybrid’ ball bearings. All GMN ball bearings can be supplied as hybrid ball bearings. The material characteristics of ceramic balls in hybrid ball bearings result in significant increases in machine performance (in comparison to ball bearings using steel balls), especially under critical conditions.

Before filling for first time, remove anti-corrosion agent. Fill the bearing such that all functional surfaces are certain of being greased. Fill normal bearings up to about 1/3 of the free space inside the bearing. Low-speed bearings (DN value < 50,000) and their housings should be filled completely. The bearing and machine manufacturer's instructions should be observed.

Clean with solvents like OKS 2610/OKS 2611 Universal Cleaner. Remove the corrosion protection ahead of the initial filling. Fill the bearings in a way that all the functional surfaces for sure get the grease.

High temperature assembly paste Description Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste TA (previous product name Castrol Optimol Paste TA) is a paste for screw connections up to +1100 °C. It is used as an assembly paste and prevents sticking, welding and scaling. Molub-Alloy Paste TA ensures good separation and sealing in high-temperature and wet areas as well as in aggressive media. Application Molub-Alloy Paste TA is used as an assembly aid for components at risk of corrosion, temperature and environmental stress, such as screws, bushings, valves, flange and pipe screw connections, form-fitting components, seals, stuffing boxes and packings as well as for metal pairings of light metal against steel. Molub-Alloy Paste TA is used as a base and thin film lubrication for sliding surfaces subject to high thermal loads.
