Thanks to the True-Power-On function, any angle changes are registered even during a supply voltage interruption and the angle is reproduced exactly as an analogue signal as soon as the supply voltage is restored. The contactless sensor technology works on the basis of modern gradient-based magnetic field evaluation in processor-supported circuit design. This makes the multiturn encoder largely immune to external magnetic fields or changing ambient temperatures.
