The spindle extension SamSpindle, has been specially designed for the extension of lathe spindles. Together with the bar feeder Multi 3000 it forms a safe, clean and efficient solution. The SamSpindle operates oil and air free. There is no mechanical connection to the lathe. Only a minimum of moving parts and masses. These are: the rotating bar, the guide rings and the inner cage of the ball bearings. The guide rings mounted in the roller bearings keep the bars in the centre of the SamSpindle cartridge. Thanks to this technique, round or test bars can be rotated at high speed, ensuring remarkably smooth running. You can turn drawn, round or profile bars, with correct straightness, at the maximum spindle speed of the lathe. This allows us to guarantee workpieces with high precision. Flat and Tapered Beam Torque Wrenches The error proofing industry started with a deflecting beam wrench built and sold by Paul A. Sturtevant. That was 1924. Highly accurate, very easy to use, and so durable they often last for decades - and decades! The special alloy steel beam is ground to a rate of deflection with the use of dead weights, rather than a dimensional tolerance. This process is time consuming and very labor intensive, but the result is a tool that remains accurate as long as the beam is intact and the pointer is on zero under no-load condition. The flat shape of the beam insures the wrench remains at a right angle to the fastener, reducing or eliminating side-loading error. This unique taper-grinding distributes stress evenly along the entire length of the beam, extending tool life indefinitely. Before filling for first time, remove anti-corrosion agent. Fill the bearing such that all functional surfaces are certain of being greased. Fill normal bearings up to about 1/3 of the free space inside the bearing. Low-speed bearings (DN value below 50,000) and their housings should be filled completely. In as far as available, the bearing and machine manufacturer's instructions should be observed.

This temperature sensor is for measuring the temperature of liquid and gaseous media in engines, sets of machines and utility vehicles. A Pt 1000 thin-film precision resistor is used as the measuring element. The temperature-dependent resistance of the Pt 1000 is evaluated by an electronic circuit and outputted as a temperature-dependent voltage at the sensor‘s output. The interrelationship between temperature and voltage corresponds to the characteristic curve for the Pt 1000 and is thus nearly linear. The assignment between temperature and output voltage is nearly freely selectable, the lesser temperature corresponding to the lesser output voltage. The sensor‘s lowest possible output voltage is 0.1 V and its greatest is 10 V. The output is overload-proof and short-circuit-proof. The sensor has no mechanical moving parts and so is not susceptible to vibration and soiling.

BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 60 is used to monitor the filling levels of Diesel fuels. The sensor is able to automatically recognize what kind of Diesel fuel (Bio-Diesel, Summer-/Winter-Diesel etc.) is present and calibrates itself to it. The capacitative measurement principle permits measurement of levels without mechanically moving parts. This considerably increases stability and operating safety. Mechanics The new tank sensor ITS 60 is characterized by a particularly stable, but light mechanical system specially designed for “Heavy Duty Applications”. The mounting flange and measurement tube are constructed from die cast aluminium. This construction permits the insertion of tank sensors up to 1200 mm in length, without additional support on the tank floor. The flange hole distribution is compatible with commercially used tank sensors. This means that this system can be used without expensive conversions.
