In the treatment of drinking water, whether done conventionally or via seawater desalination, agitators are used for rapid mix, precipitation and flocculation processes. Precipitation and flocculation processes require low shear, slow-running agitators. For pH adjustments and rapid mixing faster running agitators that can blend reactor content in a flash are required. Wastewater treatment also requires a multitude of application options for agitators. In anaerobic and anoxic tanks for nitrogen removal, slow-running agitators are used to suspend and homogenize activated sludge flocs. In aeration tanks, mixer/aerators can be used for efficient oxygenation and mixing. Where waste water is purified, sludge is generated. This sludge is generally conditioned using polymers, dewatered, and then digested in anaerobic sludge digesters to generate biogas. Special agitators are required for both polymer introduction and for digested sludge mixing.

The Mini Water Vac is a designated oil purification unit which can be applied directly to various types of machine reservoirs. Boiler feed water The so called „Boiler feed water“ is stored in a feed water tank and continuously feeded to the boiler of a steam generator. A big quantity of feed water is needed for example in steam power plants. The boiler generates steam, which is used for heating, for chemical processes or for driving a steam turbine respectively a steam engine. The feed water is purified in a way, that all harmfull components for the boiler are removed or neutralized. Leakages and evaporation loss are compensated by additional water which is purified in the same way than boiler feed water. Very often, valuable well and potable water resources are used for the generation of process water. Environmental regulations restrict this usage of well and potable water continuously and increase the costs for this resources steadily. A clear matter: disposing of process water in an operationally safe manner After vibratory finishing, the process water contains solids and pollutants such as metals, oils and greases. To prevent these from entering the sewage system during disposal, you can clean your process water - even acidic or alkaline water - in our flocculation plants. You can then discharge the clear water into the sewage system in accordance with legal regulations. DO/GA flocculation units The PLC-controlled DO and GA flocculation plants are fully automatic solutions that purify up to 2,000 litres of process water per hour. If your daily water volume to be treated exceeds 3,000 litres, these plants are the right choice for purifying your process water. RT flocculation unit The easy-to-operate and inexpensive RT unit is suitable for you if you want to purify a daily water volume of up to 3,000 litres.

The new Enviro 1000 is an automatic water treatment system that purifies the process water and compound produced after vibratory finishing and reconditions it for renewed vibratory finishing operations. The centrifuge cleans and recycles the process water by separating the solid particles and often also oils from the process water and depositing them as solid sludge on the edge of the centrifuge basket used for this purpose. This cycle of processes: Vibratory finishing, cleaning and recycling the process water and finally reusing the process water in a renewed vibratory finishing process saves costs and is extremely environmentally friendly.
