Continuous ultrasonic power generators for continuous applications - The digital ultrasonic generator technology of the ULTRABOND product line is specifically designed for continuous weld processes with continuous power ranges of up to 8000 W. A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) compensates for fault effects and ensures repeatable ultrasonic output at a duty cycle of 100%. The ULTRABOND digital ultrasonic generator is used with the MICROBOND and EASYBOND systems by Herrmann Ultraschall.

Heavy-duty ultrasonic generators for intermittent applications - The digital ULTRAPLAST product line is available in frequencies of 20 kHz, 30 kHz, and 35 kHz at a power range between 900 W and 6200 W. Programmable ramp up and ramp down times and infinitely variable adjustment of weld amplitudes are only some of the features of this product line. The ULTRAPLAST digital ultrasonic generator is integrated in all Herrmann Ultraschall series machines and systems.

Versatile generators for intermittent and continuous packaging applications - The fully digital ULTRAPACK ultrasonic generator is designed for use with fast-operating packaging machines. Its manifold software functions allow for repeticious control of the weld process resulting in highest possible sealing quality. The ULTRAPACK digital is an integral part of the PACKLINE modules by Herrmann Ultraschall.

Whisper is ideal for detecting and locating ultrasonic frequencies generated when the following common situations occur: • leaks of any gas under pressure or vacuum • electrical arcing • worn bearings and machinery • malfunctions in steam traps • leaking seals The leak detector includes a specialized built-in receiver that detects frequencies in the 40.5 kHz range. Through sophisticated circuitry, Whisper locates the ultrasound’s source, while an internal noise control ensures the instrument is unaffected by audible noise. This makes Whisper a versatile tool which can even be used in noisy environments, such as mechanical rooms. The weld tools safely seal the foil even with fine coffee residues present within the sealing zone. This complete solution consists of an ultrasonic generator, stack, guiding rail, force build-up and drive system. The compact, modular design allows for implementation of multi-lane, space-optimized solutions. In this concept it is possible to separately adjust parallel feed and sealing force for each lane. As a result optimum sealing results can be achieved.

Ultrasonic cleaning tanks of series SW 12, SW 25 and SW 40 are compact tabletop cleaning devices for industrial purposes. The serial version includes a cover with handle. The cleaning tanks can be equipped alternatively with frequencies of 30 or 40 kHz or in combination 30/40kHz. On the front the ultrasonic operation can be set nonstop or for a limited period. The ultrasonic generators are integrated in the stainless steel housings. The devices are equipped with a heating with thermostatic regulation installed at the outside of the tank. It is set on the front. The tanks are made of stainless steel, here the SW40 – SW90 are built in welded design. On the bottom they have a residual clearance. Heated and cold cleaning tanks complete the program. Only aqueous cleaning agents are permitted in the cleaning tanks.

The new generation of plastic welding machines of the OMEGA 4 series combines technical standards at the highest level with ease of use. The modular arrangement of the machine components, consisting of press, control and generator, enables easy adaptation to the respective plastic part and the respective location. Simple system operation is guaranteed with the multilingual touchscreen With this standard machine, even the most difficult welding tasks can be mastered reliably thanks to their performance and control and monitoring options. The S series is the standard version of the Omega. An ultrasonic high-performance generator and and a separate control with a larger touch panel are available. There are also 12 program memories available. The separate control also enables the process data to be read, the travel distance to be measured and greater connectivity.

KLN ultrasonic generators are incorporated in cleaning tanks of various capacity from some liters up to several cubic meters. They have a high operating reliability also under extremely difficult application conditions. Based on decades of experience in developing ultrasonic generators today we have a broad variety of generator series, meeting the most various requirements concerning frequency, way of installation and output power.

KLN manufactures various cleaning machines acc. to ATEX (ATmosphère EXplosibles) for the use of combustible liquids. The cleaning machines can be used separately or in combination with other methods. The cleaning tanks must be operated at a well ventilated place. The combustible cleaning agent can be filled in directly into the tanks. The ultrasonic generators are set up separately. A safety thermostat (setting 15°C below the flash point) controls the adherence to a max. temperature and in case of excess temperature it switches the machine off. The cover included in the delivery avoids emissions from the tank during standstills. The machines can also be used in connection with aqueous cleaning methods.
