External casing components for urban buses and longdistance coaches For many years, we have been developing casing components for the exterior of buses and railway vehicles here at TC. One advantage of GRP profiles is that we can produce different component lengths based on just one tool. This increases flexibility in design. The components are based on a profile made of glass fibrereinforced plastic, which we process in our CNCcontrolled milling machines to produce precisioncut parts for e.g. wheel arches, indicators and maintenance covers. We can also install reinforcements or addon parts at the same time if required.

Vibration damper of the series GMF are especially designed for machine tools. The elements GMF-( )-4 are made to mount small presses or cutters. Depending on the size of the elements they have a load range between 250 and 10.000 kg. Vibration damper of the series GST have an own levelling integrated, so they can compensate small unevenness on the floor. DEWALT’s lead design engineer for drills was tasked with designing a high power right angle drill that is lightweight, compact, and portable. The goal with the design was to maximize performance while minimizing the size of the tool. The design would incorporate a mechanical clutch built to limit maximum torque output to 70 ft-lbs. Absent the clutch, with the huge gear reduction of 75:1, the drill would be capable of producing a lock rotor torque at the spindle of 175 ft-lbs, transmitted directly to the operator of the tool. It was determined early on that the clutching thrust required in the space available could only be achieved by a Disc Spring design. Compared to conventional coil springs, Disc Springs offer a higher load capacity in less space. Additionally, longevity and reliability is a high measure of quality for professional tools used on a daily basis. The life and performance warranty of the tool was reliant on the Disc Spring design. With its compact design the tool sets blind rivet nuts up to M12. Furthermore the GBM 40-R has a great application access and low weight. The ratchet function provides a very good power transmission. The tool provides low effort by high lever. The exchange of nosepiece and threaded mandrel is possible without any tool. Nosepiece and threaded mandrel are also compatible with the GBM 40-R.

ECOROLL multi-roller tools are usually used for roller burnishing. Types G, R and RA machine cylindrical through and blind bores, stepped bores and cylindrical external surfaces including similar non-cylindrical surfaces. . RP, RK, RKA and RKAK tools are designed for plane surfaces, cones and spherical surfaces. RH/RHA tools deep roll fillets and chamfers. FA tools deep roll large thread root radii. All ECOROLL multi-roller tools can be used on CNC turning, drilling or milling machines and machining centers or on conventional machine tools.
