In addition to our glass needles, we supply matching small-volume standard Luer syringes for optimum handling of the needles. Thanks to the small volume of the syringe, the piston stroke can be controlled with high precision to ensure an optimum dosing result. Precise dosing is further supported by the piston's smooth movement. Conventional syringes have a volume of about 1 ml. in our one-way syringe, the volume has been halved to 0,5 ml. 0,5 ml syringes with low sliding force with silicon seal

Filling the very small NMR tubes for the Bruker Match™ system is a particular challenge. Therefore, we have developed two different needles specifically for this task, which greatly simplify the filling procedure. While one needle is intended for use with a standard one-way syringe, the other needle is fitted with an integral plunger. Like our NMR tubes, both needles are made of high-grade borosilicate glass 3.3.As an accessory for the needles with syringe coupling, we also supply one-way syringes with only 0,5 ml volume. SOLID Sub-cutaneous Use After removal of the security clip and protection cap the syringe is ready for use. The doctor applies the implant syringe to the patient’s tissue, injects subcutaneously and presses the implant syringe completely together. During the application, the syringe shell is always in touch with the skin. First the tablet (implant) is placed in the tissue via the plunger in the needle channel and then the needle is withdrawn from the patient’s tissue. After the administration the needle is protected both by the plunger and by the needle cover, afterwards the syringe can be disposed as usual. Implant Syringe (drug device combination product) Monodose The implantation syringe is qualified for the placement of rod-shaped, long-acting tablets. These are intended to release their active substance gradually into the tissue layers of the patient. For this purpose, it is necessary that the tablet is placed subcutaneously by a needle. Generally, this is done with a...

We have developed a range of Mediprene thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) for plunger seals in single-use syringes. The TPE seal, which is mounted on the end of the plunger, needs to provide a leakproof seal with the syringe barrel. As ease of use for the medical practitioner and patient comfort are also key requirements, the seal helps to optimize plunger movement for accurate dosage control and ease of injection. Originating from medical raw materials with high biocompatibility status and compounded under clean conditions, Mediprene TPEs are the material of choice for medical customers who want to maximize the probability that their devices will pass relevant medical tests. The raw materials in these compounds comply with food contact norms like FDA 21CFR and Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011. All polymers used have passed tests according to USP class VI and the paraffinic oil has passed the USP Mineral Oil NSF H1, reg 125038 and also the European Pharmacopeia, liquid paraffin. Fo
