Depending on the medication and the propellant (CFC or HFA), different materials are used. We produce our containers from aluminium and stainless steel. While stainless steel containers are usually used uncoated, aluminium containers can also be offered in a coated version. Our containers are used as primary packaging for the administration of aerosol medication by inhaler. Patients worldwide use MDI (metered-dose inhalers) to treat respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD.

LIPP® Tank Refurbishing Quantities change and existing tanks become too small – these are also problems that frequently arise. In such cases, the mobile machine technology from Lipp using the LIPP® DoubleSeam System or the LIPP® welding technique offers a solution that is as simple as it is costeffective, while being extraordinarily stable. Tanks can be installed on site in any size required and can be placed in an existing steel or reinforced concrete basin using a mobile crane. The existing tank volume is utilised, eliminating the need for expensive demolition work. There is also a range of materials to choose from for the tank itself so that it can be optimally matched to the intended application. Metal detection coil INTUITY reliably detects enclosed contaminants in your product or bulk goods. INTUITY can be flexibly used in dry or wet areas and achieves best results with its multi-simultaneous frequency technology: It simultaneously checks with at least two frequencies if your packaged or unpackaged product contains steel, stainless steel, iron or non-ferrous metal. The metal detection coil helps you to enhance the quality of your products and to minimize the risk of possible recalls. INTUITY reliably checks if your packaged or unpackaged products or bulk goods include metal foreign objects. Lipp offers liquid manure containers for farms of any size that not only make promises to provide safe and cost efficient storage but also keep those promises. Stainless steel may be the material of choice for constructing liquid manure containers but steel is expensive – and that is why Lipp uses Verinox, the material that it developed in house. A combination of galvanised steel sheet (for the outside of the container) and stainless steel sheet (for the inside of the container), Verinox offers all the benefits of a high quality material while enabling significant cost savings to be made at the same time. Electrical tote tank mixers for stainless steel IBCs The LRK-C series tote tank mixer and their drive units LRK-A are a special solution designed for operation on stainless steel containers with filling openings of at least 400 mm and mixing volumes from 400 l up to 1,500 l. The customer may choose between various viscosity-related basic versions of fast-running and slow-running mixers with electric drives. The mixing unit that remains in the container is connected to the drive unit with a bayonet coupling and a clutch. The drive is dismountable so that one drive unit can be used for several mixer units interchangeable. The mixer is mounted on the container’s manway lid, which is clamped with butterfly screws or a clamp ring. The agitator shafts are borne in a bearing housing, which is welded into the container lid on the product side. The impellers are designed to fit through the filling opening DN 400 when being inserted.

The tote tank mixers CR-M are designed for operation on stainless steel containers with filling openings of DN 400 mm and mixing volumes from 400 l up to 1,500 l. Depending on the viscosity of the mixing material, CR-Ms with fast running or gear reduced drives are available. The agitator shafts are connected to the drive shafts with sleeve couplings or borne within the gear’s hollow shaft (worm gear). The agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run after assembly. The mixer is mounted on the container’s manway lid, which is clamped with butterfly screws or a clamp ring. The manway lid is supplied by the container manufacturer or by the customer. The impellers are designed to fit through the filling opening DN 400 when being inserted. The electric container mixers are delivered with on-/off-switches with low-voltage breaker. Until now, the perfume and flavouring industry had hardly any satisfactory solutions for the exact mixing of powdery substances, which often led to weighing errors, blocked valves and production downtimes. The FRICKE PD1 powder dosing system was specially developed to meet these challenges. With a 6 kg scale (1 mg resolution), it automates the dosing of 20 powder components, which are stored in sealed stainless steel containers (10 litres). Various dosing elements and stirrers enable lump-free and dust-free processing. The advantages include high accuracy, reproducibility and simple software integration into the batch management system.

The body and spring material of stainless steel (SUS304), and valve of fluorine contained resin ensure excellent performance with various chemicals. The mobile stainless steel MIXACO container equipped with wheel s is filled with raw materials and then pushed towards the container mixer by the operator. In this pha se, the container is used as a transport container. In the container mixer, the container is connected t o the mixing head and tilted 180° into the mixing position. During the mixing process, the container together with the mi xing head is therefore used as a mixing chamber. After mixing, the container is tilted back to the basic position. The container with the fi nished mixed material is removed from the mixer, and can now be transported directly for further processing without decanting to a diff erent receptacle. In this phase, the container is once again used as a transport container.
