Compact Rail is a linear system consisting of steel linear rails with induction hardened raceways and high precision radial ball bearing sliders, also made of hardened steel. Thanks to their self-aligning capabilities, Compact Rail linear guides simplify the project, improve the performance and reduce the overall cost of application. Compact Rail linear guides are easy to install on all types of surfaces, including non-machined ones. Compact Rail linear guides feature a robust steel slider with ball bearings, self-centering heads with wipers, longitudinal seals to protect the internal components and a top sealing strip. The slider body is accurately finished with matte longitudinal edge chamfer and a shining ground flat surface. The slider heads are equipped with special slow release felt pads and are free to rotate with respect to the slider body, so that the felts are always in contact with the raceways to ensure optimal lubrication.

Compact Rail Plus linear guides feature double row ball bearings for higher load capacities and rigid rails with convex raceways and new robust steel sliders with longitudinal protection and floating wipers, Compact Rail Plus has been designed for the most demanding applications in terms of high load capacities, high dynamics and work environment. All while maintaining the self-aligning capabilities that make this product family unique. Sliders are available in four versions: guiding slider (RV); floating slider (RP); extra-floating slider (RU) and rotating slider (RA). Combining two rails with different sliders makes it possible to create self-aligning systems that can compensate misalignment errors on two planes: axial up to 3.5 mm and radial up ±1.3°.

The RA line descripes a roller beared slide in a special sealed version. The standard type is equipped with a gap seal (approx. 0.5 mm). Special types with felt or nylon scrapers are possible, too. The RH line is equipped with a hand wheel and a scale ring with a 0.02 mm scale gradation. Sizes 075 up to 200 can, on option, also be furnished with a 0.01 mm scale gradation. The roller bearing slides run in preloaded, hardened and ground Vee-guides. This ensures a smooth, zero-play and extremely precise longitudinal movement - even under high load. The RK line is equipped with a cross type handle and, from size 300 on, with a hand wheel. The RM line The RM line is equipped with a knurled micrometer knob of a 0.02 mm scale gradation. Sizes 075 up to 200 can, on option, be delivered with a 0.01 mm scale gradation, too. The RS line is equipped with a threaded spindle. From size 75 mm on, all dovetail slides (type SS) are equipped with a digital position readout. Different installation options allow to read the display from different viewing directions. The housing consists of shockproof plastic. The digital display allows to make fast adjustments over the complete measuring path. Pivot pins are found on shutoff devices such as spherical valves, butterfly valves, hollow jet valves and plunger valves. These valves are generally used for opening and closing and occasionally to control the flow rates by oscillating movement. The greaselubricated sliding bearing is protected against water infiltration by a seal on the inside. The seal also prevents the grease leaking into the inside to prevent water contamination. The MANOY® system seal WP, type 418, was developed for this application. To prevent leakage of grease from greased bearings, the unidirectional MANOY® system seal WP, type 456, is also installed.

The guide vanes control the inflow of water in turbines. These vanes run in sliding bearings. To give the bearings longer term protection from water infiltration, the inner sealing MANOY® system seal WP, type 428, was developed for standard specifications. Type 487 with integral scraper was designed for high specifications due to abrasive constituents in the water and/or long inspection intervals. The housing for this seal must be open. The profile dimensions of both versions can be customized to adapt to existing groove designs.
