Servo motors in hydropower plants normally operate water hydraulically. These servo motors perform the functions of opening, closing and control of shutoff and regulating devices and must be able to maintain the setting position at any prevailing pressure.

Swivel motors from this series are generally suitable when program sequences such as acceleration – travel – deceleration in open-loop or closed-loop controlled systems are determined via proportional or servo valves. The swivel motors in this series are often also suitable in combination with simple hydraulic circuits if the inertia forces occurring are small, e.g. when opening and closing emptying systems, actuating valves, placing and removing workpieces, swiveling load handling devices and much more. In order to provide our customers with the right drive for all areas of application, the HSG swivel motor is available in a total of 11 different versions. The use of servo-hydraulic controls can significantly extend the range of applications for swivel motors. Larger loads can be slewed in a shorter time than is possible with purely hydraulic systems, where the damping travel is fixed. In conjunction with such a control system, the acceleration and braking behavior of the swivel motors can be specifically adapted to the requirements. This means that even fast and very precise movements with large masses can be safely mastered. We offer customized solutions for a wide range of applications. The flexible PC-controlled high-performance circular sawing system PSU 450 A is designed for the utmost cost-effective production of small and large quantity runs. • The PSU 450 A features up to three servo-motorized axis to ensure a precise positioning with regard to length, mitre angle setting and output gripper unit • The material to be cut off is held by means of the output gripper unit. Embossing punching is an important technique in the automated production of car parts, guided by robots.
