When circular brushes start to rotate, your production problems are solved. Whether you use them for derusting, cleaning, deburring or processing welded seams and removing hard scale and paint, they won't let you down.When there is a need to precisely process slim workpieces or profiled surfaces, single-section brushes come into their own. They are slim, aggressive and tough. The feasibility of joining several of these brushes together makes them particularly versatile. Pipeline brushes give outstanding service in the construction of oil, gas and water pipelines. They are used for cleaning up welded seams and were specially developed to deal with root-pass and fillet welds.

The roller brush type 964 is made of single section brushes mounted together on a core up to the required face width. This roller brush type can be mounted on cores made from stainless steel, plastic coated steel, or mild steel. Kullen-Koti recommends especially this brush type for heavy-duty operations with a high dense brush surface, e. g. by using our single section brushes with twisted steel knots (Type Z-SH). But we can manufacure the single section in almost all other fill material types. For mounting the single section brushes on the core or by the operator himself on the existing primary shaft, we use our fixing ring (FRB / scew nut (MB) system. Heating bands are the ideal solution for the heating of tubes an cylinders. Mica band heaters, frequently used as nozzle heaters, are made with a plastic-tight stainless steel casing. Such mica heating bands are in many dimension available from stock. The Ceramic heating band type is suitable specially for applications with high watt density and therefore for higher temperatures. Ceramic band heaters, also known as ceramic ring heaters or cylindrical ceramic sectional heaters, are attached to the contact surface by means of a clamping mechanism. A preferred field of use for ceramic band heaters is the heating of plasticising cylinders, bushings and nozzles of injection moulding machines and screw barrels of extrusion machines. For thermal optimization and process control ceramic band heaters can also be offered with insulation jackets or air cooling.

Ceramic Insulated (Band) Heaters are predestined for high-temperature applications beyond 450 °C, for example for pipe heating in process heat technology, especially when gases are involved. Ceramic insulated sectional surface heating elements are also brought into action where a heat storage capacity is needed, as in hot plates the case. With the heating surface of ceramic flat heaters being composed by small-limbed ceramic elements with aligned holes in the centre for the resistance coils to be fed through, ceramic sectional heating mats are also applicable for bent or cylindric surfaces. Like Micanite insulated flat heating elements also Ceramic insulated elements can receive a metal sheath. The latter provides additional protection against mechanical load and allows for attaching connection boxes. Another advantage is the easy installation by means of mounting holes in the metal cladding.
