Black oxidation treatment is a commonly used chemical surface treatment method for metal parts, including steel, stainless steel, copper and brass. The principle of this process is to immerse the metal in a heated solution containing oxidized salt, so that the metal surface forms a black oxide film to achieve the purpose of rust and corrosion resistance. This oxide film is usually iron tetraoxide (Fe304), which not only improves the corrosion resistance of the metal, but also gives it a black appearance. This surface treatment is widely used in areas such as precision machining projects, automotive parts, tools and decorations, and the advantages of black oxide include better corrosion protection, reduced light reflection, dimensional stability and aesthetic appeal. EXCOR PERIGOL DW is an anti-corrosion oil containing solvent which is chiefly used for the corrosion protection of ferrous metals, uncoated or partially galvanised steel, cast iron and other metals. It offers excellent water-repellent properties. In metal parts produced by processes involving water EXCOR PERIGOL DW removes the water, which dissolved corrosion-inducing salts may also contain, from the surface, creating a wipeproof film which protects against corrosion. This property can also be useful for dry parts, for instance during spraying. A wipeproof film provides more robust protection against mechanical and thermal stresses and also enhances the corrosion protection it provides.

The sodasan Dishwasher Salt is composed of 100% pure sea salt, which is normally used as table salt in the food industry (salt mills). It contains no other additives like anti-caking agents or dyes, which ensures a particularly long service life for the ion exchanger. The Dishwasher Salt helps to maintain the functionality of the water softener (ion exchanger) in a dishwasher. The ion exchanger is able to absorb the calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness and release sodium ions instead. If the ion exchanger has lost the ability to absorb these ions, it must be regenerated, meaning salt must be added to provide new sodium ions.
