It makes sure that the hydraulic system is constantly bled. Air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid might combust spontaneously under certain conditions (so-called Diesel effect). As a consequence, seals and sealing surfaces can be damaged, causing leakages. Clamping heads are especially susceptible for this phenomenon, as they have only a very small hydraulic volume and are not flushed through at each activation. Air can therefore easily accumulate in the clamping head. This is the reason why the usual initial bleeding at commissioning is often not enough, especially when the line leading to the clamping head points upwards...

Safety Clamping for Rail Systems Holding force 540 N Always on the safe side: The safety clamping elements LOCKED SL clamp and brake directly on the clear area of guide rails on linear modules with forces of up to 10,000 N. They are individually adjusted to the linear guide being used and are available for all rail sizes from 20 to 65 mm and profiles from all renowned manufacturers. Special brake pads made of low wear sintered metal are used for the additional emergency stop braking functions in the safety clamping elements LOCKED SL. The SL product family offers optimum static clamping with a service life up to 1 million cycles or up to 500 emergency braking operations. They also offer low system costs in comparison with hydraulic and electric solutions.

Mechanically highly stressed components – such as the rotating head – are made of metal. This makes it extremely robust and durable. The plastic housing, on the other hand, is light and functional. Two units in one: a building hoist with a load bearing capacity up to 850 kg or a transport platform for a maximum of 5 people and loads up to 500 kg. The transport platform GEDA 500 Z/ZP offers a simple and good-value transport system for materials and people with a spacious transport platform, which is not closed on the top. The well-know GEDA steel mast segments stand for easy assembly directly from the transport platform up to a height of 100 m. Without using a crane, you can put on the handy 1.5 m mast segments and secure them with captive screws and locking nuts. In order to prevent people from falling down, hot-dip galvanized landing level safety gates with mechanically locked sliding doors are installed to all loading and unloading points.

The transport platform GEDA 1500 Z/ZP unites two different machines in one: a hoist for materials with a load bearing capacity of 2000 kg and a transport platform for material and persons. In contrast to ordinary material hoists, for which the transport of people is strictly prohibited, the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP may transport 7 people in addition to goods as soon as it has been switched to the operating mode “transport platform“. Just as for all other GEDA twin mast transport platforms, you can choose between a lot of different transport platforms and as many different types of roofs. The load platforms provide enough space for bulky and heavy building materials. This can help to improve logistics on site.
