The combination of crane control and wireless control concept creates the link between an operator and a crane and thus makes optimum load handling a tangible experience. Absolutely safe operation of a crane or a system of several cranes must always be guaranteed – safety for the crane operator as well as for the transported goods and surrounding infrastructure. The smart Demag SafeControl system enables independent and continuous monitoring of a crane on the basis of a largely redundant control concept to bring the system to a standstill independently if any irregularities occur. Furthermore, dangerous conditions can be identified and prevented in advance. The crane operator can concentrate fully on his/her work at all times thanks to the safety control system. A crane can be conveniently and intuitively controlled by radio, which is also very efficient. The safety control system combined with radio control can ensure gentle handling and precise positioning of loads.

Kuhnkes FIO Safety PLC is a module intended to expand EtherCAT networks. Acting as the FSoE master, it is able to address any FSoE slave including safety I/Os, motion controllers valve islands and other FSoE equipment. The Safety PLC meets the requirements of IEC 61508 SIL3 and DIN EN ISO 13849 PLe. CODESYS version 3.5SP8 or higher is used for programming. The CODESYS safety function modules have been certified previously thus considerably reducing the efforts of developing, verifying and approving a safety application. The main controller's CODESYS environment and the EtherCAT link are used for programming.

Heating systems for frost protection in cold stores and freezer rooms offer a reliable precaution against frost damages and humidity wherever the natural thermal fl ow is not suffi cient for preventing a freezing of humidity in the foundation. For controlling these heating systems, Klöpper Therm developed a new controller offering maximum safety and convenience apart from the approved precise and reliable control. The frost protection controller can easily be confi gured and monitored via web interface. The integrated wake on LAN function enables the booting up of a PC in case of failures (e.g. in a control room) and informs the operating personnel about the type and place of failures.

The B 500 Humidifier radio is a blend of wireless humidifying, cleaning and filtering. The unit is equipped with a fully automatic four-stage radial fan that offers a noise free and extremely efficient operation. The unit is designed to offer versatile adjustments as per need. The wireless sensor measures up to a distance of 30m delivering highly accurate and stable measuring results. The sensor is to be fitted with battery and placed within a suitable measuring area¹ on a wall or a ceiling for automatic operation. The sensor measures and monitors the relative humidity at regular intervals and control the humidifier up to 30 meters distance. An acoustic signal indicates for battery change during low battery. The compact steam superheaters of type series PVN reach high steam temperatures even at low process pressure. Due to the compact design and control concept, they are characterised by short response times, high control precision, and high availability (existing redundancies). In many cases, our steam superheaters are designed as a "stand alone" system and provided completely assembled with all necessary safety devices and controls. The customer must only provide the process connection and the electrical connection.

Our valves are manufactured in-house and matched to the characteristics and pressures of your application. Our valves are full lift safety valves and can be spring loaded or pilot operated. All our valves are supplied set to your required working pressure up to a maximum of 4,000 bar and flow rates up to 4,700 l/min. Two versions of spring-loaded safety valves, even ATEX compliant The simpler high pressure valves have a rotatable bypass connection to dispose of leaking fluid. Pilot operated valves require a block flange. Like all other KAMAT products, these are ATEX compliant and can be manufactured in special materials to suit the medium being pumped.

The programmable safety controller of the SCR P series is a smart alternative to the classic safety relays. Due to its multitude of applications it can replace various safety relay modules. This saves not only costs but also time, wiring effort and space. Up to 5 possible safety circuits with a max. of PL e, thereof 2 circuits with innovative DCD diagnostics allow logical connections to distinctively shutdown certain parts of a machine.
