Different lances and augers can be attached to the robust drive unit and swapped without any problems. This modular design makes PowderProof® a versatile instrument for sampling powders and granules from drums, barrels, bags or sacks. Safe and reliable sampling is made even easier with useful accessories such as basket-enclosed bottles, sample bags and close-it control seals. Taking samples from sacks, boxes, bags, etc. with sampling lances is a common and time-proven practice. This produces holes through which easily flowing bulk goods could escape from the container. The label has a sandwich-type structure (aluminium/ paper) and seals the container hermetically (vapour barrier). This virtually prevents hygroscopic powders from clumping together. The label is not just used to provide a hermetic seal. It is also used for providing quality control information (sampling date, release yes/no, name of tester, etc.). The labels are available in different colours. The label is applied to the bag via a pneumatic label transfer unit. To achieve a precise application result, a pneumatic pressure roller is used. The sack label is then recorded fully automatically via a barcode scanning station and reported to the b+b Siterserver. The basis of the pressure dispensing system is the EDS 620i label pressure dispenser. This is designed for industrial operation and enables you to label your products and their packaging precisely, reliably and quickly using different applicators and label transfer modules.
