Clock Springs – also called hair springs – is a torsion spring that is optimum for installation spaces that are limited axially, but with more space radially. They are made from strip material or flat rolled wire that is wound in a flat, spiral shape.

The KAUP hook-on Fork Positioner T411Z is a robust attachment for exceptionally heavy duty operation - ideal for uneven surfaces. Spreading forces induced, for example when handling coils (several) cable drums, rolls or wire coils, can readily be supported due to the large overlap of sectional profiles between fork guide and clamp body. Speedy working cycles and millimetre accurate positioning of the transport load is possible.

Multi-coil wave springs are made from flat-rolled spring wire that is coiled to a helical shape and the coils are at the same time given a sinus shaped wave form. The force-deflection relation is created by flattening out the wave form when the spring is compressed. The function is hence like a helically shaped leaf spring.

Here, we can help with pullthrough Straighteners also known as Flatteners. We usually mount them at the entrance of our Servo Roll Feeds or Air Feeds. Wire materials also often have a coil set – sometimes in two levels even. Single and dual Wire Straighteners help making such bent wires straight again.

With around 40 employees, we manufacture flat and profile wires in coils or bars for our industrial customers at our site in Brotterode (Thuringia) - on an area of 40,000 m². Our products can be found in the offshore, construction, electrical and automotive industries, among others. EGE infrared detectors are used to detect hot objects and to record and measure temperatures. The sensors detect the infrared radiation of warm and hot objects from 20° C to 800 ° C. EGE infrared detectors are designed for use under extreme conditions. With their glass and stainless steel housing they are water-tight according to IP 68 / IP 69. With attachment optics can be used at an ambient temperature up to 500° C. An optional blow-out system makes the sensors insensitive to contamination of the optics. The detectors are, for example, used to detect steel girders or hot rolled wire as well as for the contactless temperature control of brewer’s barley in germination tanks.
