The combi setting tool Flipper® Plus is a combi setting tool for blind rivets and blind rivet nuts. A tool-free conversion from blind rivet to blind rivet nut setting tool is possible in under one minute in just a few simple steps. The ergonomically designed hand tool has a new ratchet function. The force increases when the handle is closed. This finding is put to good use in a special lever arrangement for setting blind rivets and blind rivet nuts. The required manual force is reduced by around 40 percent if actuated several times. Due to an actuation lever with an opening spring the tool can be used easily for a single-handed operation. The jaw mechanism with spring reset arranges a safe and automatic mandrel ejection. The rivet mandrel collection container can be clipped to the body casing and is easy to empty. The larger device lift is a benefit when handling extra long blind rivets. The Flipper® Plus offers a simplified setting procedure for blind rivet nuts.

As a combination of blind rivet nut and screw, blind rivet nut studs offer an alternative or replacement for welding studs. The following applications are particularly suitable for the use of GESIPA® blind rivet nut studs: • Accessibility from one side only • Thin carrier materials (sheet metal, plastics, etc.) • Necessary pre-centering • On heat sensitive application materials (e.g. welding not possible) • Surface coatings must not be damaged • Production of electrically conductive joints • Fast replacement of welding studs (repairs) GESIPA® blind rivet nut studs can be set without any problem with the GESIPA® blind rivet nut setting tools FireBird®, GBM 95 and FireFox® using corresponding adapters (see tool description) for blind rivet nut studs

The FireBird® Pro S Gold Edition with mechanical setting stroke adjustment. When setting a blind rivet nut size of the same length in consistent material thicknesses constant setting stroke should be used. The setting stroke corresponds to the distance the mandrel is drawn into the nose piece during the setting process and thus how far the blind rivet nut is upset. With the setting stroke adjustment this path can be set mechanically on the setting tool.
