Flottweg nozzle separators (2- and 3-phase nozzle separators) are used for the continuous separation of solids from liquids and ensure highly efficient clarification or separation. The Flottweg AC1700 separator – the newest member of the Flottweg family Separators are used to separate the finest solid particles from liquids. Separators are available from Flottweg for a wide range of applications, from the production of beverages to the production of vegetable oil. Our separators are subject to different requirements depending on the application and size of the respective plant. To be able to offer our customers more options and the optimum solution, we have expanded our separator portfolio with a new machine size: the Flottweg AC1700 separator. The Flottweg AC1700 separator fits between our popular AC1500 and AC2000 series and completes our product portfolio for the food and beverage industry. With over 70,000 m² / 753,474 ft² of clarification area and an acceleration of 11,000 g, the compact separator ensures an optimally clarified final product with a high throughput.

The STRATE AWALIFT 74/1 is used primarily for draining floors, multi-family buildings and properties above the backflow level in accordance with DIN 1986-100, e.g. for properties that cannot be drained via a natural slope. DIN EN12056-4 establishes the upper edge of the street at the connection point to the public sewer system as the backflow level. The STRATE AWALIFT 100 is the system preferred for draining storeys, houses and plots of land below the backwater level in accordance with DIN 1986-100, i.e. for properties that cannot be drained using natural gradient. DIN EN 12056-4 specifies the backwater level here as being the road surface of the connection point to the public sewage system. The AWALIFT 74/2 double installation provides improved operational reliability, since the pumps alternate to pump waste water (which has already been separated from bulk materials) from the separator. Bulk materials are first pumped into the pressure line, then the line is flushed with pre-cleaned water from the tank. The necessity to spread/separate or converge products while they are moving on a process belt conveyor is a major requirement for a wide range of food, confectionery and industrial applications. In many cases this allows processors to run narrower conveyors saving factory floor space. Coating processes also benefit by separating product and reducing rejection rates.

The LSS-PV model was developed to serialize small product batches cost-effectively and according to the requirements of country-specific FMD guidelines. The products are fed manually. A transport system with product carriers guarantees a precise and continuously accurate alignment of the products. After the printing process performed by a thermal inkjet printing system (TIJ), the print data is inspected. If the inspection result is positive, the products are either collected on the collection table at the outfeed of the system or glide over an optionally available transfer plate into an outer shipping case. Defective products are reliably separated from the GOOD products by the product reject station. This process is verified twice in the PLC.

Chemical Design - Series V 800 - 1600 BC The vertical peeler centrifuges types V 800 BC – V 1600 BC are used for uninterrupted operation with high throughput rates in the chemical and fine chemical industries. As with the horizontal centrifuge series, for the vertical peeler centrifuges a wide selection of baskets with different diameters is available. Because of the thermal sensitiveness of products, this separation method is applicable. The sample to be distilled is exposed only for a very short time to the heating substances because the film, created by the wiper, can evaporate very quickly. The residence time of medium on the heating surface is a matter of seconds, thus essentially less than in a reboiler flask, circulating evaporator etc. The evaporated product (operation pressures down to 103 mbar and temperatures up to about 300°C) has to pass a “short path” to the condenser only, which is located in the middle of the evaporator. Evaporators in borosilicate glass 3.3 are available with heat exchange areas 0.02…0.8 m². Evaporators in stainless steel can be heated by a heating jacket to higher temperatures with more heat transfer area for higher throughputs.

In many incineration and industrial plants in various industries as well as in the municipal sector, dust emissions are produced during production processes. These emissions must be purified before they are released into the atmosphere. The dusts can be sticky, greasy, wet, dry or combustible and have different particle sizes. In general, they are between 0,1 and 1000 μm in size. Dust collection systems physically filter these dusts out of the exhaust air.
