The compact single column vertical lathe (swing diameters of 1,400 to 2,800 mm) is appropriate not only for turning, but, with additional units, can also be used for drilling, milling and grinding. It means that it is possible, in a single clamping, to carry out a full machining operation on the CONTUMAT VCE and not simply turning. The rigid cast construction on this lathe ensures low vibration and accurate cutting; hydrostatic guide rails damp vibrations even further. The technical design and numerous fitting options mean that Dörries is able to configure an individual machine to every customer.

Reaching concentricity 0 using a simple collet chuck and this within one minute: this is Zero-Zero. The specifically designed clamping nut with 6 symmetrically arranged screws at the circumference makes this step possible. The clamping nut is split, so that the inner ring can be minimally shifted. This simple technical finesse allows to eliminate tolerance additions. The machine operator only has to replace the previous clamping nut, which step opens up a new concentricity dimension – and this for a price starting at € 90.00. Zero-Zero is available for DIN 6499 collet chuck holders from ER 16-ER40.

This robust, vertical installation machine is specifically designed to install Compression Limiters into a variety of plastic components. The KamJet is our solution for trouble-free extreme high pressure blasting on a mobile platform.
