The new Scout VGS 4500 measuring station consists of measuring probes mounted on the front of the vehicle and a measuring cell installed within the vehicle. These two parts are connected via a suction hose. The system can be mounted on different type of vehicles such as a pickup truck, quad or car. To adapt to nature of the surface to be measured, the probe distance can be adjusted quickly and it is just as easy to store the entire front probe. With the Scout VGS 4500 measuring station from Schütz, very large sections of network can be inspected and the results can be recorded in a short time. With the vehicle-based measuring system, measurements are accurately taken at speeds up to 50 km/h. Even under the most difficult conditions, Scout VGS 4500 has proven its reliability. The system was successfully subjected to a resistance test in the desert at an outside temperature of over 36 degrees Celsius.
