With the manufacture of compacting containers for use in municipal vehicle construction, decades of expertise and know-how go into the implementation of every product. In accordance with the requirements, we implement the container manufacture and, if the customer requests it, take over both internal coating and external painting. The production range includes volume-optimised 37 – 43 m³ vehicle bodies.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR SILAGE SILOS The Lipp dual seam system was and still is the basis for Lipp’s sustained success over the last few decades. Silage silos were already being built for agriculture with this system in the 1960s. The Lipp dual seam system is still employed today for the construction of silos and system solutions used for the storage of silage. In addition to pure container construction, system solutions for silage silos also include other components that go far beyond the scope of supply of a simple container manufacturer. APPLICATION EXAMPLES & REFERENCES Lipp system solutions for silage are used for storage and preservation of silage in an above ground, cylindrical container. Corresponding filling and extraction systems, roof and floor structures round off the scope of supply. A large number of the silage silos installed decades ago are still in operation today and provide proof of the high quality standard and extremely long service life.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR GAS STORAGE With the Lipp gas holder Lipp offers a tried and tested system solution which is complete in itself, for unpressurised storage of biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas. This solution is chiefly used for municipal waste water treatment plants and landfills. Due to its design, as well as high functional and operational safety, it also ensures low maintenance costs over a very long service life. This is mainly because the sensitive gas holder is protected against UV radiation and other environmental influences by a steel container manufactured with the Lipp dual seam system. Furthermore, this construction method allows an exact leak test and highly accurate metrological monitoring of the gas fill level. Both aspects are essential for safe and efficient plant operation. With certification according to § 19 WHG for Lipp GmbH and DVGW approval of the gas storage tank, further conditions are met for use in municipal waste water treatment plants.

The endless piston principle convinces in handling abrasive ingredients: Fillings and dosages in the cosmetics industry are subject to strict guidelines. In addition to the statutory and market standards, there are those required by the product itself. In this case, these are gels with microparticles which push some dosing systems to their limits in the manufacturing process. The contained microparticles, such as ground stone fruit seeds or alumina or plastic particles are very abrasive, but peeling pastes and body scrubs can no longer be imagined without them. Exactly this effect is desired by the consumer in order to remove surface layers of the skin. However, the handling of these highly abrasive pastes is often difficult or damages pumps and other processing machines and increases the wear of the systems extremely ̶ and thus also the running costs.

The production of high-performance suction and pressure containers is also one of our competences. We create individual solutions here, which are tailored to the challenge. We manufacture suction/pressure containers with a max. dia. of 2,500 mm and a length of 14,000 mm for commercial vehicles used as municipal vehicles. The following materials are used here: S235JR, S355GH, P265GH steel and 1.4301, 1.4571 stainless steel. With material thicknesses of at least 3 mm to a maximum of 8 mm depending on material selection, we cater for the individual customer requirements in production. We are a TÜV-certified welding company in accordance with AD 2000 datasheet HP-0 / TRD 201 and DIN ISO 3834-2 with TÜV-certified welders in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15614-1.

CRP-M - Pneumatic tote tank mixer for stainless IBCs The CRP-M tote tank mixers are featured with a pneumatic drive and were designed for the application in stainless steel tanks with filling openings of at least 400 mm and mixing volumes of 400 l to 1,500 l. The fast running pneumatic agitators are equipped with bearing and coupling housings. By means of the maintenance unit, pressurized air is enriched with oil for the vane drive. The mixer is mounted on the container’s manway lid, which is clamped with butterfly screws or a clamp ring. The manway lid is supplied by the container manufacturer or by the customer. CR-M - Electric tote tank mixer for stainless steel IBCs The tote tank mixers CR-M are designed for operation on stainless steel containers with filling openings of DN 400 mm and mixing volumes from 400 l up to 1,500 l. Depending on the viscosity of the mixing material, CR-Ms with fast running or gear reduced drives are available. The agitator shafts are connected to the drive shafts with sleeve couplings or borne within the gear’s hollow shaft (worm gear). The agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run after assembly. The mixer is mounted on the container’s manway lid, which is clamped with butterfly screws or a clamp ring. The manway lid is supplied by the container manufacturer or by the customer. The containers are manufactured in stainless steel or galvanised steel with powder coating and are available with an optional information space. CAPITAL litter bins are available as wall-mounted or floor-standing models with a capacity of 50–120 litres. Ashtrays can be integrated into the cover or on the side.
