For pharmaceutical applications, it is used for the treatment of hypomagnesemia. For food applications, it is used as acid regulator, for anti-caking and for magnesium fortification. For industrial applications, it is used for the production of glass ceramics and enamels and as a flow aid. This includes the adaptation of chemical and physical parameters such as bulk density, wettability, particle size, purity or pH-value.

Calcium and magnesium are mineral nutrients that are essential for many life functions in the human organism. They have a substantial portion in the forming of the inorganic substance of bones and teeth. Each tablet contains 300 mg calciumcarbonat and 200 mg magnesium carbonate, equivalent to 120 mg calcium and 50 mg magnesium. 1.25 µg vitamin D3 contributes towards the absorption and utilisation of calcium.
