Side-entry agitator for mixing below liquid surface. The PDR is a simple side-entry-agitator for mixing below the liquid surface. The PDR is recommended for applications where low viscous liquids are mixed turbulently in high tanks and where a top-entry mixer would be too heavy due to its shaft length and –diameter. The sealing between the agitator and the vessel is done by means of a single-acting, internal mechanical seal which is lubricated by the mixing product or an additional fluid The agitator shaft is connected to the drive directly with a flange coupling inside the seal housing. By default, this agitator series is supplied with marine type propellers. Other mixing elements according to the mixing task upon request. Solutions correspond to those of the SPR, additionally mechanical seal in sealing housing. Other solutions for this series upon request.

Homogenizing large tank volumes, mixing-in additives during the production of lubrication oil and suspending solids in a liquid phase are typical applications for the pneumatic pulse-mixing technology of PULSAIR. The process, patented worldwide, is based on an injection of an adjustable pressure pulse underneath an accumulator plate, installed on the bottom of the mixing tank. The injected pressurized air forms a big air bubble, soaring within the tank and displacing the surrounding liquid. Meanwhile negative pressure is generated underneath the bubble, sucking the surrounding material. This produces in the tank a vertical flow directed upwards, adjustable according to the requirements by varying the pulse length and the pulse duration. Contrary to mechanical agitators the height of the tank is very marginal. No moving parts or shaft bearings are in the tank.

Our high-performance machining oil SENTOS V-LR3 has a somewhat higher lubricity compared to our SURVOS products. This product also consists of volatile components that evaporate down to a lubrication residue of 3%. All components are approved according to USA-FDA §178.3910 as surface residues for the manufacture of food packaging. This makes our SENTOS optimally suited as a lubricant and drawing agent for punching and deep drawing (even with high contact pressures), for cutting and perforation of sheets (aluminium, steel, copper, brass, zinc-plated), including transformer and electric sheets, as well as for painted and coated sheets in particular. In addition, our SENTOS is especially well suited for cold profiling, bending and embossing, as a cooling lubricant for sawing, drilling, milling and engraving as well as a lubricant for cutting non-metallic materials.
