We develop and manufacture electric heating components for air conditioners in train systems and shipbuilding as well as preheaters and braking resistors for the drive technology. In the field of separator technology, we manufacture heating elements for the temperature control of different liquids. The coaters series type LC were specifically developed for coating tablets. With our coater range, Loedige is one off the technological market leader. The maximised tablet bed surface in the Lödige coater and the maximum number of spray nozzles mean that extremely high liquid volumes can be applied with extremely high air supply volumes within a very short time. The newly designed, particularly low-turbulence air routing ensures a highly efficient and gentle use of dryer air. These features ensure a reliable coating process and short process times. Moreover, the low-turbulence air routing prevents contamination from the very start, thereby reducing the cleaning workload. Modern sensors permit optimisation of the spraying and drying process. Simple yet secure nozzle arm adjustment makes for easier handling.

In the food industry the atomisers and dosing systems of Mantis can be used everywhere where liquids have to applied uniformly and sparingly. Which purpuse are MAFEX-Potato/Fruit sprayers used for? In general, the MAFEX unit can be used to apply any liquid. Its most common usage is the liquid treatment of potatoes with seed dressing agents, fungicides and anti-sprouting agents (e.g. Fungazil® 100 SL, GROSTOP® Basis, NeoNet® Start, MonCut®, Magnate® 100 SL and Cuprozin® Liquid), the treatment of citrus and other fruits with various types of wax and fungicides. Application of water for dust binding. How and where should a MAFEX be assembled? Mounting of the atomisers for use with potatoes, for example, can be made on de-earthers, box fillers or conveyor belts, with preferred positioning above a step-down drop. With fruits, atomisers can be mounted above the sorting table for example. For MAFEX sprayers with 1 or maximum 2 atomisers there are also mobile supporting stands available. MAFEX® ULV-Spraying Sytems The MAFEX Potato and Fruit fine spray unit is based on ULV (Ultra Low Volume) technology, through which the required output volume can be reduced significantly. By means of centrifugal force using a specially developed rotation disc approx. 30 million droplets are generated from 1 ml of liquid. In this manner, an optimal effectiveness is achieved. A third category of membranes is used for degassing liquids. When applying a vacuum to one side of the membrane, the liquid itself is not permeable and there is no loss. One typical application is removing dissolved oxygen from brewing water in order to avoid any oxidation processes.
