The attachment chain may only be used as an attachment accessory without edge protection if a 20% reduction in load lifting capacity is taken into consideration or if the nextlargest chain thickness is used. Otherwise, a secutex SKK hinged edgeprotector must be used. A “sharp edge” exists when the edge radius is smaller than the nominal thickness of the lifting chain. The latest development in lifting platform technology is based on mechanical drive technology using belts. Hydraulic oil is not required. Due to a patented catch system, BELT-LINE meets the safety requirements laid down in DIN EN 1570. Upenders are designed to safely tilt big and heavy coils – either from horizontal into vertical or reversed. This fast and easy coil handling solution gets rid of “adventurous” tilting methods that often will endanger the operator. Chains and other lifting aids which damage the coil rims become obsolete. Upenders allow 90 degrees tilting of coils; Combination machines will also rotate 180 degrees. Both can handle up to 25 tons.

Fundamentals of Chair guidance systems. The heart of the system is a high precision rail guiding a sled, both mounted in a cuboidlike housing. As the rail is mounted on the angularmilled surface, the sled is forced by gravity to return to its intended position. To avoid placing undue tension on the moving sled, only one rail is used. To solidly connect the chair leg socket to the carriage sled, it is sufficient to simply stick the stem into the conical aperture and fix it with a screw. The chair either with fixed leg or multifunctional leg with integrated twist mechanism can now be mounted onto the chair leg socket. A special feature of this multifunction leg is the height adjuster and the twist mechanism that always rotates back to its starting position as the seat moves back to its initial position. The specialized pneumatic height adjuster must be included in the chair manufacturer’s scope of delivery for the chair tender or shall be coordinated with goracon.
