We have installed SCHÖPP® Allround structured velour on around 2000 courts since 1994. It can be played on both with and without our Perfect Glide extruder granules, recommended with treadless tennis shoes. Due to its versatility and its very "honest" ball bounce characteristics, it is equally appreciated by all classes of players. From 1994 to 1998, this product was produced with 750 g/sqm. Since then, a pile weight of 1,000 g/sqm has proved its worth. However, the yarn weight can be increased to 1,250 or 1,400 g/sqm on request. This makes the fabric surface even more compact and durable. What is particularly important here is that the higher yarn insert weight leads to a higher pile density of up to 300,000 pimples/sqm and only marginally to a higher pile height, which would have a negative impact on ball bounce behaviour! A higher yarn weight is by no means an equivalent substitute for our highly elastic, filler-free polymer coating!

Moulded-In Inserts are placed over core pins by an operator or a pick-and-place robot prior to the closure of the mould cavity during the plastic injection process. Moulded-In Inserts offer exceptional torque and pull-out resistance due to unrestricted plastic flow around the Insert body, and are often the Insert of choice for thermosets and engineered plastics with a high percentage of filler. The minor thread diameter tolerance is controlled to ensure positive positioning and perpendicularity of the Insert on the core pin during the moulding process. Series 63 is symmetrical eliminating orientation and Series 65 is the same body style in a blind ended version. SPIROL's Moulded-In Inserts are made from 2024 aluminium, a light-weight, lead-free grade. SPIROL’s Series 63 and Series 65 Moulded-In Aluminium Inserts are available in thread sizes ranging from M4 (8-32) up to M8 (5/16-18).

Glucomannan is a purely vegetable, water-soluble fibre consisting of indigestible carbohydrate chains of the Asian Konjac root (Amorphophallus konjac). It is characterised by high swelling properties. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) confirms that within the scope of a low-calorie diet, Glucomannan contributes to a weight loss. A daily intake of 3 grammes of Glucomannan in 3 portions at 1g each in combination with 1-2 glasses of water before meals and a low-calorie diet leads to weight loss. Furthermore, a daily intake of 4 grammes contributes to maintaining a normal cholesterol level in the blood. Both conditions are fulfilled with our Glucomannan Drink, as the recommended daily dose contains 4 grammes of Glucomannan. FIBALON®3D offers you excellent filter performance for all common swimming pool filters. Only 350 grams of it replace 25 kilograms of filter sand or 20 kilograms of filter glass. FIBALON®3D filters particles down to 8 microns and due to its fiber fixation, it filters nearly pressure-less. Additional it is made out of recycled PET-bottles. This leads to an energy saving and environment friendly product. The interior of the fibrous ball consists of a slightly denser core and a softer wrap. The balls nestle together to form a consistent filter bed. The deliberately chosen spherical shape maximizes the filter media’s surface area. We also developed the fiber fixation DyFix® which yields an unusually high particle retention rate and deep penetration of particles into the FIBALON® media bed to provide excellent filtration results. FIBALON® leads with minimum weight to an excellent energy balance compared to conventional filter media.
