An OLED (Organic-Light-Emitting-Diode) is an light emitting diode whose emissive electroluminescent layer is composed of a film of organic compounds. The layer usually contains a polymer substance that allows suitable organic compounds to be deposited. They are deposited in rows and columns onto a flat carrier by a simple “printing” process. The resulting matrix of pixels (or custom segments) can emit light of different colors. As significant benefit of OLED displays over traditional liquid crystal displays is that OLEDs do not require a backlight. So the low power consumption is ideal for handheld products. We offer a variety of Graphic-modules starting from 120 x 32 dots to 320 x 240 dots (1/4 VGA). Most of our modules operate within the wide temperature range (-20°C to +70°C). Depending on the multiplex rate we have designed several models in STN and FSTN technology. For the backlight we use LED, EL or CCFL depending on type of color, quality, lifetime and price. Different kind of technologies are possible: COB is available for most modules using backlight. COG is recommended for applications where space is limited. New technical concepts allow us to achieve wide temperature range modules without price increase. Most of our products are available from stock. If you do not find any product which can fit into your application we have the capability to manufacture customized- or semicustomized designs also at low volumes and an economical price level.
