The rapid change system EWS-Varia allows to set-up a modern CNC lathe or a turning milling center – and this flexibly. A tool change will just take 20 seconds, which is an unbeatable argument especially in small batch productions whenever it is about reducing the set-up time and thus increasing the productivity. The advantages, however, are also evident in large batch productions. Preset twin tools lie at the machine, thus significantly reducing the down-times. A further advantage is provided by the variety of adaptations; so the optimal tool clamping can be selected for each operation. The innovative recuperation module from CIC acts as an energy-saving valve and control module directly in the pneumatic circuit. Stainless steel is expensive. Verinox offers the same level of quality as the conventional material used for the construction of tanks and containers while using less stainless steel. With Verinox – the duplex material developed by Lipp – a sheet of stainless steel is joined to a sheet of galvanised steel by means of a separation layer. Three components form the basis for this material that is ideal for tank and container construction not only does it have outstanding physical properties but it also uses a reduced quantity of expensive stainless steel, resulting in lower costs. ESM for AC-brakes: The module consists of a time-controlled rectifier with integral electronic fast turn-off. During start-up, the ESM delivers bridge-rectified output voltage before changing over to half-wave rectification. The built-in voltage sensor ensures that the DC side output voltage is interrupted electronically when AC input voltage is removed. Thanks to its compact design, the ESM can be installed in very restricted space. ESM for DC-brakes: The module keeps the voltage supplied to the electromagnetic device at a constant level over a wide input voltage and temperature range. Full operating voltage is applied to ensure fast switching when the load is switched on. The module then reduces the power supply to constant holding voltage. A 30% reduction provides power savings of 50%. The ESM is very compact thanks to the use of state-of-the-art microelectronic and power electronic components. Overexcitation time and holding voltage can be factory-programmed to customer demands.

Water-based formulation. Innovative, skin-friendly mode of action. Immediate disinfection and long-lasting (30 days!) contamination protection in different dosage forms (spray, wipes, wash additive, foam). Broad, proven efficacy against bacteria, viruses and fungi. Special properties: The products work gently on the skin on an aqueous basis alcohol-free. After drying, the products form a long-lasting protective layer. This layer destroys germs (bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses) mechanically while the skin is not damaged. Therefore, germs cannot become resistant. Both efficacy and safety of the products have been extensively tested, the results - even against problematic, resistant germs - are impressive and can be provided! Particularly noteworthy is the long-lasting effect of up to 30 days on surfaces and up to 24 hours e.g. on the hands. Successfully tested against COVID-19.

Compact-Grid™ stainless steel conveyor belt is engineered to offer superior support for small products. The unique grid pattern provides 70% open area which makes it easy-to-clean and offers exceptional air and liquid flow-through properties for heating, cooling and coating operations. Compact-Grid’s no-slip positive drive provides the highest standard in belt tracking, which means the belt will run straight and true even under heavy loads. Joining Compact-Grid is fast and simple, making belt installation easy.

The products are manually placed on the conveyor belt, printed from above and collected at the end of the system. The portable system is equipped with a Wolke m610 Touch thermal inkjet system. An upgrade to a manual serialisation system with b+b Linemanager and Full Vision System is optionally available. The conveyor belt is driven by a powerful stepper motor with constant speed. The conveyor belts are provided with crossbars at regular intervals to achieve constant product guidance and thus a consistent print result. The distance between the two toothed belt conveyors can be easily adjusted in order to process different product widths. For processing slightly slanted products, the positions of the crossbars can also be adjusted to each other.

Chip cooling with the aid of heat sinks usually requires a lot of space and is not only heavy but also expensive. The specialists at SEPA EUROPE have developed a chip cooler with minimum space requirements for compact designs. The core component of the compact cooler is the ultra-flat blower HY40H that is combined with a Kühligel® of pure aluminium. The special feature of the new cooling solution is its variability which means that the size and shape of the heat sink can be freely chosen. Users can thus assemble the cooler to optimally fulfil their requirements. With a thermal resistance of a mere 2.5 K/W, the new chip cooler withstands a power dissipation of up to 15 W and in doing so guarantees the operational safety of the entire embedded system. The blower is equipped with the highly durable Magfix® sleeve bearing and has an impressive service life expectancy of von 210 000 h (MTBF) at 40 °C.

The fan and cooling specialist SEPA EUROPE unveils a true innovation this year: The RaAxial fan. This created term is a combination of the words radial and axial. The microfan with its dimensions of 17x17x4.5mm is ideal for compact, embedded applications and offers numerous possibilities, e.g. as an axial fan for the ventilation of housings or as a radial fan for blowing air onto the heat sink. A tailor-made „Kühligel®“ has already been developed for the latter which makes the cooling of hotspots child’s play when space is limited. Reliability has top priority at SEPA EUROPE. For this very reason the new fan is equipped with the tried and tested Magfix® bearing system. The life expectancy at 40 °C is 210 000 h (MTBF) or 40 000 h (L10).

The LX series was specifically designed for the highprecision, efficient fiveaxis machining of turbine blades. This ultramodern machining platform is the result of decades of experience in the development of machine tools, CAM systems and special tools combined with our inhouse expertise in the prototype and series production of turbine blades.

Container trolleys for boxes: This shapely and flexible trolley is solid and specifically suitable for storage and shipping areas. Its slight dimensions allow you to drive it through narrow corridors easily. Standard versions include boxes, handle on one narrow side, 4 solid rubber-tyred guide rolls (100 mm Ø), ball bearing, 2 of which featuring an arresting device. Containers with half-opened front as well as cardboard boxes of the most various sizes can take place on this solid trolley space-saving and orderly. Closed or wire sides and back walls are optionally available. Transport trolleys for stacking boxes: These mobile transport trolleys can be used to load assembly lines or as a convenient order picking assistant! These trolleys can be also delivered in a custom size (special dimensions) according to your wishes. Platform lay-up shelves with anti-slip grooved covering are also available for for the carrying of cardboard boxes, containers and many others.
