Our modular fieldbus and remote I/O-systems offer a comprehensive range of solutions for factory and process automation with interfaces for the fieldbus protocols PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet™, CANopen, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP™ and PROFINET. excom® is a remote-I/O-system in IP20 for Ex and non-Ex areas. You can plan and implement tailor-made solutions for the I/O IP20 area with the universal BL20 bus terminal system. The modular IP67 fieldbus systems BL67 and piconet® can be mounted directly in the field.

The programmable gateways of the BL20 (IP20) and BL67 (IP67) I/O systems can be used as autonomous PLCs for control tasks or as network devices for fast signal preprocessing in the periphery. For this, the gateways have a fieldbus interface for PROFINET, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP™ or PROFIBUS-DP; in addition the gateways support standard Ethernet and serial communication. The extension modules communicate via the internal module bus with the gateway and can be configured independently of the fieldbus protocol.

This EtherCAT I/O module has been specifically designed with industrial environments in mind. Its IP 65 protection allows its installation anywhere at the machine making switching cabinets and further housings more or less redundant. You may mount the unit directly on a base plate. Due to the modules integral plug connector system, sensors and actuators are never far away from the modules. Standardised cable connections reduce mounting times while enhancing the security of the wiring. The IP65 EtherCAT I/O modules are intended for mechanical & plant engineering applications also in conjunction with systems other than those supplied by Kendrion Kuhnke Automation.

The digital Kuhnke FIO I/O modules relay the binary control signals to the actuators and analyze the input signals of the automation device galvanically separated from the process level. The Kuhnke FIO DI16 / DO16 module has 16 outputs, each output can be loaded with up to 0.5A. In addition the module offers 16 inputs with an input delay of 1ms. The primary and secondary sides of the module are separated by optocouplers. This galvanic decoupling makes it possible to switch off the supply of the outputs via only one safety component. The signal status of each channel is indicated by LEDs. The dimensionCONTROL TWI 7303.I tire width inspection system is designed for profile width measurement in extrusion lines. This measuring system is based on camera vision technology involving two cameras inside one measurement box. These cameras are angle mounted to each other and operate according to stereo vision technology which enables high precision measurements in the whole calibration range.

The controller is a fieldbus device for the control of up to 7 power modules from the modular heating System from Kendrion, which are directly connected via the module bus. The SRF (Safety RFID) is a non-contact safety sensor, that monitors moveable safety guards, such as doors, flaps and hoods. With its innovative diagnostic system, the SRF makes safety circuits suitable for Industry 4.0. The system provides a multitude of diagnostic data of each sensor, even in a series connection, to support smart production. Diagnostic data is fed into the machine control system via I/O Link or alternatively displayed on a smartphone by way of NFC technology. The main field of application for dynamic inline mixers is the intensive and adjustable mixture of polymer flocculation agents with the sludge to be dewatered on dewatering machines like (belt) filter presses. Using dynamic inline mixers the active ingredient contained in the polymer is dispersed evenly in the sludge to be dewatered, resulting in a noticeable improvement of the dewatering characteristics and a considerable reduction of the required flocculation agent. A suboptimal mixture of the flocculation agents is often compensated by a considerable increase of the dosed quantity. In many applications the flocculation agent is dosed in a stronger dilution to improve the miscibility. However, this means that water which actually should be detracted from the system is now added to the system. I
