Thrust bearing / Spherical axial bearings from igus d1 [mm]: Mechanical properties The self-aligning spherical igubal ® thrust bearings are very easy-to-mount units, which help to compensate for errors and prevent misalignments. The thrust bearing housing pad is made of the impact-resistant, stiff, thermoplastic composite material igumid G. The standard thrust bearing washer is made of iglidur® W300. This combination provides particularly good gliding and wear properties in relative movements. Loads The load carrying capacity of the spherical igubal® thrust bearing is very high in normal ambient temperature. In particular cases the load carrying capacity of the axial bearings should be checked in a practical trial with high constant loads and at higher temperatures. Coefficients of surface friction and speeds Taking the radial loads into account, maximum surface speeds up to 0.5 m/s rotating can be attained. Installation The axial bearing pad is mounted flush and secured. The spherical washer glides loosely in the pad and is held by the shouldered shaft mounted on it. The screw-in transmitter LMK 351 has been designed for measuring small system pressure and level measurement in container. The LMK 351 is based on an own-developed capacitive ceramic sensor element. Usage in viscous and pasty media is possible because of the flush mounted sensor. For the usage in aggressive media a pressure port in PVDF and the diaphragm in AI2O3 99.9 % is available. Radar (FMCW) level transmitter for powders and dusty atmospheres The OPTIWAVE 6500 is a 2-wire 80 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for demanding applications with powders in very dusty atmospheres. With its small beam angle, this radar is particularly suited for continuous, non-contact level measurement in high and narrow silos, hoppers or buffer storage containers up to 100 m / 328 ft. Due to the high signal dynamics of the FMCW radar, the level transmitter is ideal for low-reflective media, dust, uneven surfaces or tanks with obstacles. As it features a flush-mounted PEEK Lens antenna, there is no intrusion of the antenna into the tank.

profiPANEL enables a total of eight mounting depths to be provided for. Thanks to this wide range of depths, profiPANEL therefore enables almost every conceivable configuration for the internal mounting of components to be realised. The enclosure front of the profiPANEL system is manufactured made-to-measure and provides for the almost edgeless and flush mounting of a front plate. Appropriate cut-outs for a display, switches and more are included in the service provided by ROLEC and are produced ex-works to meet customer specifications. The profiPANEL series includes two desk models for internal mounting. An ergonomically designed profile handle system is available for even more convenient handling, particularly with the deeper profile versions. Radar (FMCW) level transmitter for liquids with hygienic requirements The OPTIWAVE 3500 is a 2-wire 80 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for liquids in hygienic applications. It is designed for continuous, non-contact level measurement in the food and beverage as well as pharmaceutical industry. The device features a flush-mounted PEEK Lens antenna with a small beam angle and dead zone for precise measurement even in small and narrow tanks with agitators. It is equally suited for use on larger tanks up to measuring distances of 50 m / 164 ft. As the radar withstands process temperatures up to +150°C \ +302°F and pressures up to 25 barg / 362 psig, it can be used in CIP/SIP cleaning procedures. The OPTIBAR LC 1010 is a submersible level probe for water and wastewater, environmental engineering and OEM applications. It is particularly suitable for continuous hydrostatic level measurement in water wells, rainwater retention and overflow basins or tanks. The level transmitter features a robust stainless steel housing and a high overload-resistant ceramic diaphragm for long-term operation. The diaphragm is flush mounted for safe and easy cleaning on site. The level probe comes with pre-configured measuring ranges from 100 mbar / 1.5 psi to up to 10 bar / 150 psi. Customer-specific ranges are available on request. Its corrosion-resistant TPE cable is approved for use in potable water applications.
