Food Belts from Forbo Movement Systems supplies a range of food belts that is based on close partnership with OEMs and food producers. In addition to fabric-based conveyor belts, plastic modular belts, elastic belt types or timing belts, we also provide extra options such as profiles or sidewalls, various customized solutions and on-site service. Our innovative developments pursue different objectives. One example are our HACCP belts that close potential safety gaps in food production. To support your HACCP concept, we can offer food belts with superb resistance to hydrolysis, good release characteristics, designs in blue as a strongly contrasting color, or with sealed belt edges. Our food belts are in compliance with the stringent regulations on plastics (EU, FDA) when conveying unpackaged food.

The positive driven AT5 conveyor belts from BEHAbelt enable slipfree traction, even with the smallest pulley diameters of only Ø 18 mm. This means that even conveyor sections with the smallest transfers can now be utilized with a slipfree belt solution. In combination with a maximum belt width of up to 700 mm, the new product series from BEHAbelt represents a new product solution which once again shifts the previous limits of the possible applications of positivedriven belt solutions on the market. This makes the positive driven conveyors perfect for applications that require precise timing, positioning and reversing. The low preload minimises the bearing load and thus reduces the energy requirement as well as the maintenance effort.

Elastic monolithic PU conveyor belts from BEHAbelt offer new fabrication possibilities. Due to the lack of traction layers joining by finger welding is no longer necessary, as the monolithic belt has a homogeneous design – even in the weld seam. The welding device HS from BEHAbelt is a simple, handy, reliable and costeffective tool for butt joining of monolithic belts. Depending on customer requirements, two versions are available with the joining table and heating paddle for max. belt widths up to 400 and up to 800 mm. The simple operation in combination with the intuitive production aids ­enables a repeatable and highquality connection of the belts. Optional adapter plates ensure precise positioning and clamping of the butt ends to be welded.
