In the serial arrangement, a vertically aligned linear drive shaft (double-acting linear cylinder) is mounted on the vertically aligned rotary drive shaft (swivel motor), i.e. the piston rod of the cylinder and the output shaft of the swivel motor are mechanically coupled via a movable shaft-hub connection. The pallet holder is lifted by the piston rod, which also serves as a bearing for the pallet holder and safely absorbs all the forces generated during asymmetrical loading. The stopper cylinders are developed to stop or block moving parts, e.g. in an assembly line. The large dimensioned piston rod also allows use as a stand-by stop device.

The CQ series cylinders are manufactured according to ISO 15552 and have diameters between 160 and 250 mm. Standard version in single / double-acting, with magnetic piston and adjustable cushioning. A complete range of accessories for mounting and position sensing is available.

Cylinders with Ertalyte piston rods are particularly suitable for use in the food and chemical industries. The SGH wire-actuated encoder measures the absolute, direct cylinder stroke in the hydraulic cylinder. Cost-intensive drilling of the piston is no longer required thanks to the new measurement system. Methods and equipment for measuring the cylinder pressure in piston machines: p-V 1.0 and PicopV 1.0 user`s software for determination of p-V-diagrams with DiaW - Diagram for Windows. p-V forms a p-V diagram from a PC file containing measured values of the pressure and information about the rotary position of the crankshaft, and calculates the work delivered or consumed by the working cycle represented by the p-V - diagram. PicopV and indicator control are controlling continually the acquisition of cylinder pressure and crankshaft position for individual working cycles. PicopV is forming from these data p-V diagrams, evaluates them and calculates an average of indicated work. In the background the PC memorizes by DiaW - Diagram for Windows - data from the MP Computer about the state of the engine, the specific fuel consumption, and the duration of acquisition and evaluation of p-V diagrams.
