Technical Information The pneumatic driven crimper is specifically desig­ned to crimp loose turned contacts. In the range of 0.08 up to 4 mm2 (AWG 28 – 12) wires and contacts can be crimped. A 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to SAE 22520 is standard. The crimping-depth can be adjusted manually in 10 µm steps. The machine is equipped with standard crimping tool kit, the crimper can be easily adapted to various contacts. Brackets for optimized infeed and centering of the wire are optionally available. Optionally is it possible to adapt the machine for other crimpforms. Manual adjustment of the crimping-depth (by option automatically by motor). The machine can be converted for other contacts by using specific tool kits. All tools are easily replaceable. The crimping process is started by a foot switch. Technical information The stripper-crimper AM 03 universal is an electropnaumatic driven machine for rapid and reliable processing of loose male and female contacts. The contacts are automatically fed by a feeding bowl. In the range of 0,14 up to 2,5mm2 (AWG 26-14) wires and contacts can be crimped. Standard is a 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to MIL 22520/1-01. The adjustment of the stripping and crimping-depth is motoric. Different values for 50 programs can be stored. Adjustment and programming is done with the touch display. The touch display shows all important data, functions and errors. The machine can also be converted for different conatcts by using specific tool kits. All tools are easily replacable.
