The continuous Form Fill and Seal machines of the servo X series are available in five performance ranges and numerous variants. They cover the broadest possible range of horizontal film packaging applications for various industries – and all this with maximum modularity. The machines can be configured individually and thus meet all requirements for the desired performance or type of packaging. Depending on the machine variant, several packaging styles can be flexibly produced with one machine. Whether chain infeed or infeed conveyor, servo X machines win over with their continuous packaging process and no stop-and-go, meaning dead time is not an issue when sealing. Besides high performance, this enables extremely tight-fitting and precise packaging with a saving in film of up to 15 %. This ensures that the film packaging‘s excellent appearance is unrivalled.

Centrefold plastic film is created by slitting blown film, which is closed on both sides, at the side or down the centre, as desired. It is basically folded flat film. Centrefold film can be used for a wide variety of packaging solutions. One good example is in the furniture industry, which uses centrefold film as furniture covers to protect pieces from dirt and dust. But centrefold film also plays a major role in product packaging in other areas such as e-commerce, the pharmaceutical industry and the textile industry. Centrefold film is mostly processed using machines – especially L sealers, for example. Centrefold film is one of the most common types of plastic film used in automatic packaging machines.

With an EtherCAT master and two additional CANopen interfaces the new CODESYS control Scout from Kendrion can be used as a HMI and control unit. The simple CODESYS V3 programming ensures an efficient engineering. Furthermore, Scout has optionally 4 digital inputs and outputs. The embedded system is based on a scalable single or multicore i.MX6 processor technology combined with a TFT touch display. All components are robust and long-term available. TITANIUM The new generation of wave soldering systems – lead free soldering without corrosion. TITANIUM is the innovative soldering solution developed by STRECKFUSS SYSTEMS. It uses titanium, an agent which is extremely lead free solder resistant. For this reason, titanium works perfectly in lead free soldering processes. An oxide film immediately covers all material damages and thus prevents corrosion. In contrast to wave soldering systems with stainless steel components, titanium is not subject to corrosion even when lead free solder is used. By means of a simple and safe solder bath exchange, TITANIUM makes it possible to switch flexibly from a standard soldering process to lead free production. This ensures maximum flexibility at minimum costs and easy handling. Asparagus farmers predominately use this effect in cold weather to expedite the growth of the asparagus. If the white side is facing up, the sun rays are better reflected. A decisive advantage in hot weather to inhibit rapid and thus quality-reducing asparagus growth and to extend the harvesting period. Our transparent asparagus films assist in reaching an earlier harvesting moment. The transparent film is hereby laid out in addition to the black and white cover sheeting. This so-called mini-tunnel process achieves temperatures of more than 40 degrees on the surface of the soil sometimes as early as mid-March.
