Every year, Germany produces around 10 million tonnes of cardboard and paperboard for the packaging industry. After their use, these items of cardboard packaging and boxes must then be reduced in volume before passing through the recycling process. This volume reduction step is performed by recycling companies and public recycling depots or in cardboard packaging and corrugated board factories. Reasons for volume reduction: For these requirements, ERDWICH has developed a specialised product range – the EKZ and FKZ cardboard shredders – which can be supplied in a range of sizes. The ERDWICH plant items have been designed as a perfect match for downstream transportation systems. The EKZ has two shafts with independent drives: one high-speed shredder shaft and one slow-speed feed-in shaft. The piezo inkjet printer (PIJ) is an inkjet printer with a contactless printing process. This industrial marking and coding system is ideal for printing high-resolution text, graphics, barcodes and more on a variety of products and packaging materials. Compared to other brands, our piezo inkjet printer uses up to 35% less ink. The printheads are mainly used in industrial areas for marking secondary packaging (e.g. cartons, corrugated cardboard boxes and tray packs). However, our piezo inkjet printers also achieve excellent legibility on porous materials. By combining several print heads, it is possible to apply large-area markings and graphics. This ensures that your product information, logos and graphics are always presented in high quality and clear legibility. PP strapping represents approximately two-thirds of our production. We manufacture it as standard in widths 5-15 millimeters in black. On request, we will be happy to produce it for you in other colors as well. PP strapping material is particularly suitable for strapping packages, cartons or other containers, as well as lighter pallets. After use, it can be easily fed back into the material cycle. It is completely recyclable, has a constantly high quality, can be failure-free processed and is short-term available. PET strapping is particularly tear-resistant and elastic at the same time. Thus they reliably absorb shocks during transportation and, depending on width, can sustain loads of between 185 and 580 kg. Our PET strapping is available in widths of 9.5 to 15.5 millimeters with tight fabrication tolerances. After use, it can be easily fed back into the material cycle, since it consists of 100 % recyclabled plastic bottles (bottle flakes). It has a high stability for optimal load security. Its constantly high quality ensures a high machine availability. This secondary display for DeBeukelaer celebrates the joy of biscuits "on tour". The product presentation in the caravan is a perfect fit with the campaign featuring a contest and road show. The length of the display made entirely out of cardboard and corrugated board is adjustable. The result: increased impulse purchases , over 9 million contacts through promotional packs and a significant increase in sales in the promotional period.
