Fabric compensators are highly flexible and usually made of multi-ply fabric, offering excellent temperature resistance and chemical resistance depending on the particular design. Mainly used in pipe and conduit systems to compensate for axial, lateral and angular movements. One major advantage of this type of compensator is the low restoring forces. Special fabric materials permit temperatures of up to 1,000°C. Additional insulation can be used to resist temperatures of up to 1,600°C . Applications: Chemical plants, refineries, metallurgical industry, ventilation systems, chimney construction, industrial furnace construction, power stations, boiler systems, waste incineration plants, acoustic decoupling. The RESISTOMAT® model 2320 is a universally applicable and easy to operate measurement device for low-ohmic resistances. The light and handy device in a stable IP54 plastic housing with membrane keypad is likewise suitable for use in service, laboratory or on the production floor. The power supply is done via built-in rechargeable battery packs or by standard batteries. If need be, the temperature of samples can be measured and the sample resistance is subsequently compensated to fit the value at 20°C. This applies for samples with resistances depending on the sample’s temperature. The temperature coefficients for copper and aluminium are included as standard. A third and fourth coefficient may be set individually for any given material to be measured. The K and MK draw-wire sensors are specially designed for series applications with large numbers of pieces. The user benefits from an excellent price/performance ratio and compact sensor dimensions, therefore gaining new potential in design and cost optimization. As well as analog versions with potentiometer, current or voltage output, digital versions with incremental or absolute encoders are available.

The confocal chromatic confocalDT measuring system is used for fast distance and thickness measurements. Different sensor models and controller interfaces open versatile fields of application, e.g., in the semiconductor industry, glass industry, medical engineering and plastics production.

Fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values are possible with the milliohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 2316. Due to the rugged aluminium injection moulding desktop housing with membrane keypad it is suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environment likewise. Wires and coils can be measured with temperature compensation. The temperature of the sample is measured with a Pt100 or pyrometer and the resistance is then corrected to the equivalent at e.g. 20 °C (adjustable) in the instrument.
