The TOPAZ float valve stands for a high flow rate (FastFill) and enables filling capacities of up to 200 l/min due to its diaphragm operating principle. It can be mounted above or below the water surface (not the COMPACT variant). It should be emphasised that the valve closes slowly in order to avoid a flashback to the water line and pumps. The quick-fill valve fills with full flow up to the highest level. All JOBE valves are made of high-quality ABS or nylon plastics and are always complete with float. The ROJO and TOPAZ series are also available in a COMPACT version (C), which is used when space for installation is limited, as the weighted narrow float has a very compact design.

Threaded brass fittings (material no. CW617N, composition CuZn40Pb2) are well-suited for the use in a wide range of applications such as heating, rain water or water /glycole mixtures (or similar water with frost protection additives). Threaded brass fittings are durable and easy to install and have a high Brinell hardness for increased corrosion protection. Our programme of threaded brass fittings also includes brass extensions. The wide range of different threaded brass fitting dimensions from ¼“ up to 2 1/2“ as well as several different chromed versions off installers the option of finding the right fitting for the application in question. Even though brass fittings are allowed for drinking water installations in many countries, we recommend the use of our lead-free series for this application.

Our fittings has been designed by our own European Engineers team. We designed an innovative a profile which avoids the risk of damaging the O-rings when the pipe is pushed on to the fitting. The compression-type fittings are the link between the thermocouple and the test area and facilitate precise adaptation. After installing the compression-type fitting, the thermocouple can be inserted and clamped in with the desired installation length. That makes it possible to perform individual measurements with self-defined installation lengths directly onsite.

The bar magnets are workable on both sides. On the holding surface an individual shape is possible and the adhesive force is adjustable. Bar magnets with an area for a free machining on the adhesive surface moreover offer a better wear protection compared with other bar magnets. To differentiate the otherwise identical SmCo series the NdFeB bar magnets are coloured blue on the holding surface. Direct mounting of the bar magnet in iron reduced the holding power by up to 15% due to magnetic short circuiting. To avoid this, certain distances need to be maintained between the brass casing of the bar magnet and the iron. The distances are also to be adhered to if the bar magnet was shortened by dimension A.
