Boiling rods Boiling rods are ideally suited to prevent superheating during boiling or distillation in glass beakers or Erlenmeyer flasks. They are made of high-grade soda glass, are reusable, and excellently suited for many applications. Stirring rods Used for mixing and homogenizing mixtures of chemicals and samples. For special applications, they are also available in borosilicate or quartz glass.

We offer a wide range of tubes for the automatic or manual determination of the melting or boiling points of liquids and solids. For this, the samples are heated slowly in the test tube until they reach their melting or boiling point. Depending on the application and the temperature range, we use the following types of glass for our melting and boiling point tubes: Soda glass (standard) Borosilicate glass Quartz glass Optional end shapes: open at both ends one end closed both ends closed curved Dimensions: Length 50-300 mm Outer diameter 0,6-2 mm Inner diameter 0,3-1,6 mm U-tubes for determining the melting point Apart from the standard melting point tubes, we also manufacture special U-shaped tubes of soda glass. The iFischer® DIST D1160 CC / FISCHER® AUTODEST® 850 AC is a fully computer controlled unit of turn key design, and ready for use after installation and commissioning. The unit extends the current test method and does not limit your vacuum distillation testing options. You are able to define your own tailored program also beyond the current standard. The system is fully housed and equipped with doors in the front and rear to satisfy safety requirements and to facilitate service aspects. The design also grants an easy maintenance by the operator. The analysis protocol is printed out simultaneously to the distillation and the distillation curves in actual boiling temperatures (ACT) and atmospheric equivalent temperatures (AET) as well as essential distillation parameters are shown on the monitor. The final data and the distillation curves are printed and stored on harddisk.

The Gentle-boil system SchoKo 2.0 is installed where evaporation has always been the most effective—between the whirlpool and the wort cooler. This is similar to the conditions the so-called Kuehlschiff (Eng. Cooling tun) provided in the past, only here the process occurs within in an airtight system, free from exposure to oxygen. Brewers can look forward to a final product with a perfect foam head and exceptional flavor stability. The energy consumption comes out to less than 1 Liter of fuel oil per 100 Liters of wort (approximately 1 gallon of fuel oil per 26 gallons of wort). Because vacuum evaporation can now take place at 80°C (176°F), the re-heating of any reserve hot water can be eliminated. Thanks to the complete recovery of evaporation heat, the amount of hot water generated in the evaporation condenser is considerably reduced.
