Filling: The pre-opened bags-on-a-roll are opened manually or automatically by air blast and they are filled while still hanging on the roll. After filling, the bag is teared off and sealed. Lateral cardboard disks ensure the steady and exact unwinding of the roll. Holes can be punched in the bags, allowing air to escape during the packing process. The back of the bag can be coloured for better visibility of the bag’s content. A vertical tear-off perforation helps to re-open the filled bags. The APG-process by HÜBERS permits short cycle times thanks to rapid gelation and demoulding with automatic opening and closing of the mould. During the gelling process, fresh material is supplied continuously to the mould under pressure in order to prevent cracks and voids and to compensate for the shrinkage of the material. The mould is held together by the clamping machine. The degassed material is injected into the APG mould directly from the static mixer. Shrinkage compensation is carried out by the HÜBERS metering pumps. One central mixing and metering system can serve several clamping machines. In this case each clamping machine has its own static mixer positioned directly in front of the mould and also has its own shrinkage compensation unit to maintain the pressure. The system is supplied via a ring line which requires no maintenance and is free of sedimentation. In principle the length of this line is insignificant.

The MIXACO discharge stations are used for dust free emptying of the product into the further processing step (e.g. dosing system into an extruder). The container is fixed in place when moved into the discharge station. Two different executions are available: Type Guide fork Type Platform Differentiated by the way of feeding the container. CellTRON® FOR MAXIMUM FILTRATION REQUIREMENTS The basis of this plant is a membrane filter press. The new product series is equipped with an innovative filter press emptying system with lifetime error message, an automated filter cloth washing system with implemented CIP cleaning function as well as an automatically opening and vacuum-proof housing. In contrast to conventional filter presses, this new development guarantees an almost gastight encapsulation of the filter press. The filter press thus meets the specific requirements for dewatering special (metal) sludges. In addition to standard configurations for battery cell production, this technology series is also suitable for demanding applications that require the highest safety and efficiency standards. These include volatile, dust explosive products as well as substances with toxic and radioactive properties but also pharma food products and hot suspensions (≥130°C).

LMT Fette rolling heads generate the thread or required form and then open automatically after rolling. Before the next thread can be rolled the head has to be put back into working position, means the head must be closed. The completely new designed closing clip, delivered as standard, already allows an flexible and user friendly layout of the process for closing the rolling head. Another significant optimization of the closing process can be realized with the new closing device (CCD) for EVOline. Adapted between rolling head and shank and connected with the coolant supply, closing of the rolling head can be transferred from process time to the non-productive time of the machine. Closing by coolant (or even compressed air) can be integrated in the machine program by a simple function.
