The PSG/553/RAC cable gland is an Ex d barrier cable gland for armoured and non-armoured elastomer and plastic insulated cables. The new series uses an innovative diaphragm sealing concept to seal the individual cores, so that there is no need to use compound or liquid resin. Available materials: Brass, Nickel plated brass, Stainless Steel 1.4404, V4A, 316L, Aluminum Types of Protection: Ex db IIC Gb, Ex eb IIC Gb, Ex nR IIC Gc, Ex tb IIIC Db Suitable for use in Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, Zone 22 and in Gas Groups IIA, IIB and IIC. HAWKE ICG 653/UNIVERSAL is a compound barrier gland for armoured or braided cables which provides an inspectable, repairable barrier seal. It is suitable for all armour / braid types. It is also suitable for non armoured cables or cables with fibre optic cores.
